Thanks Ali. With the standard yearly push by Activision which always had issues , along with the software house SHG having problems with additional teams being brought in, along with the working at home experience has simply exacerbated the situation.

I didn't hit these performance issue on ps5 or pc. Had the odd laggy ending game screen that was about it. Field of view slider is coming on release too.

Yeh aware FOV is coming... and that its based on an existing engine, just was suprised not there. Glad PS5 and PC were okay. Hopefully at launch xbox issues will be sorted.

As I said... came very close to cancelling the pre-order. The main reason i did not was campaign and Zombies (Treyarch), so at least there is something to play. The price will not be reduced (or by much). I looked at Cold War, and its still selling full retail.

I tried on both ps5 and series x and it ran mostly smooth. didn't realise the xbox build can be so rough 🤦‍♂️

The series x build was definitely rough, some one else suggested in comments that series s was less so.

Was you using the series X? I was on series S and had little issues in comparison to my team mate who was on the series X

this game is just trash. wont buy it. they make games for new consoles but you cant even get one. lmfao

Chip shortages and availability issues affecting more than just consoles. Unlikely to resolve until late 2022 or early 2023. Hence I do not want poor software running on my console that is going to brick it.
