That ending opens up a can of worms. “Project Nova.” Vanguard is its own timeline but this would imply that just like the original Black Ops Timeline, the German also developed Nova-6. I also feel like it’s a set up, kind of like how MW 2019s final ending scene set up a continuing story in special Ops.

Ijdk what happen with Activision creative teams nowadays.... Everytime they try to use history as the background story, they become so unrealistic, over the top, and out of touch....they put more on actions and drama rather than the storyline, experience, effort, and struggle aspects of historic fps games of the old. I still remember; CoD Finest Hour - CoD WaW are bunch of masterpieces, some are still legendary WW2 games. It is sad now that those are already a history, leaving us behind with the likes of CoD WW2 and this type of storylines smh.... 😔 Btw nice gaming as usual Gamematics 🤟👍

No it's not the same Steiner. Steiner from BO1 was a producer of NOVA.

But this isnt the same universe as BO1. You need to think of it like the way GTA does its games. WaW/Black Ops was a series. Original MW trilogy was its own series. Vanguard/Cold War/Modern Warfare is a different series but those 3 are linked together. But yes, its not the same Steiner (could be a brother). Vanguards was Leo Steiner, Black Ops was Friedrich Steiner.

It is good to know Activision want to connect all of its game under different developments. I mean we all go crazy when Zakhaev showed up with Kravchenko in BOCW.

I'm a simple man. I see a new Gamematics video...I watch it. Great work as always. Regarding the game itself though I was a bit disappointed. Were some great missions but some (Polina sliding through vents and under tables stabbing people) were a bit dull. Nonetheless, a good watch.

This might just be me, but it really breaks immersion for me when characters such as Polina speaking english with her dad and brother IN their own home IN Stalingrad, like why aren't they speaking russianm they ARE after all Russians, so they wouldn't speak english with each other in their own home unless there was an English speaker pressent and even then sometimes. Again maybe it's just me
