Actually guys, the voice actor for Sgt. Foley is Keith David and the voice actor for Lewis Howard is Russell Richardson who's also Sgt. Cormack in AW and Major Howard in CoD WW2.

Imo the Pacific Theatre would have been the absolute worst front to fight on in WW2. The climate on those islands was muggy, wet, and oppressively hot. There was God only knows how many different dangerous insects and animals to deal with (including crocodiles), plus a whole host of tropical diseases. It was also remote so supplies and reinforcements took forever if they even came at all. That’s before you even got to the enemy themselves. The Japanese during WW2 were vicious. They used a whole host of guerilla tactics and jungle warfare including booby traps, false surrenders, snipers in trees, flamethrowers, ambushes in the jungle, etc. Their banzai charges would have been absolutely terrifying (they always scare the hell out of me even in this game). They very rarely surrendered and based on how they treated POWs and civilians (Unit 731, Japanese hellships, Thai-Burma Railway, Nanking, etc.), you wouldn’t have wanted to either. Fighting in the Pacific Theatre during WW2 would have been awful, imo even worse than the Eastern Front.
