My advice, land early and in places that aren't hotzones. Personally I love hotzones because we can play ultra aggressive and go for squad wipes, but if you don't fancy that I'd avoid. I hate the down times in BR games as I sort of get rusty not doing much but if that slower strategy is your bag then just avoid fights, there's no shame in it.

I am experiencing the same at the moment. Even though I am only an average player (1.0KD) I was able to get a few wins with my mates, because of good teamplay. But now it is getting harder and more competitive. Although it's good that enemy teams put up a fight (that way it feels more rewarding when you win it), it can be frustrating at the same time. But still the best time I have had with a shooter since BF3

Honestly this is the best strategy for the beginning. You can quickly clear out players in your vicinity. The dude calling u trash clearly gets killed like this a lot. You just gotta play smart which sometimes means using aircraft to squash your opps like the bugs they are
