They even added the MG3,a gun that was almost literally not used,over the classic that the MG42 (or the 34 for that matter) is. But hey,lets use weapons that are meant to only be fired from bipods while running (at least a Lewis was a man-held AA gun),because we could've used a heavy machinegun/light machinegun thats more balanced (i mean literal weight balance) and could've been possibly shot without it beign deployed. Also,why did they include the version of the Lewis without the cooling jacket?It was literally to make the gun not malfunction every 2 shots and make it able to be used for ground troops easily (when most MGs where water cooled (we are talking about WW1,when it got invented).In fact,the cooling jacket in the Lewis was historically used because they gun barrel was to thin to whitstand the ehat :/ But,hey,we gotta make WW2 weapons that we are used to look cooler,right? Also the Mauser they added its a prototype automatic pistol,which i wouldnt mind (BF1 has that kind of things),if it werent for the fact that there were many more weapons used in WW2 to add,so the "we add the prototypes because we have no more guns" is bullshit

The rifle that Jack was using is the Garand, it's the only gun in WW2 that had that sound, of course it should be only able to fire 8 rounds before reloading but COD:WW2 forgot about that :p (in the first half before the trenches) Dunno about that Clip-Bolt Action, and that looks like a Scoped Springfield during the bunker/beach map.

These devs don't really care about historical accuracy, and it is pissing me off. I understand that a swastika is banned in places like Germany, but could they not have an option to enable or disable them in the campaign? Or removed them for games sold in Germany? There are women serving in the US army and Wehrmacht. Hitler would have never allowed this, neither would US command. I understand why they did this, as if you were a girl playing this, being in the war as a woman would be pretty cool, but still. They use silencers, even though silencers were practically non existent in the war. The MG-42 sounds nothing like an MG-42. It instead sounds like a generic HMG. What happened to the terrifying ripping sound of it's fire? It wasn't called "Hitler's zipper" for nothing. The bullets the guns fire are completely ridiculous. They are firing bright ass, slow moving orange laser bolts. Nobody ever fired tracers in ww2 except for MGs, and the tracers don't even look like those. They are usually white, green, or red, not bright orange. The guns shouldn't be spitting bolts of fire. You shouldn't see the bullets. If they really had to add bullet effects, they could have at least done a bolt like in WoW, not the laser gun bullshit. Why are the planes moving at about 50 kph, car speed? Why are the bombers flying at like 60 m off the ground? Only small dive bombers and fighter bombers flew that low. in the clips, those are b17s, not small bombers. Plus, having an american use an MP40, Kar 98k and a Mauser c96, while a German defender use an M1 Garand and a Colt 1911 is mind boggling. I mean, wtf? can they not even get the side correct? there is literally no good reason other than a serious lack of care. Seeing these every 10 seconds completely wrecks the immersion, and is just plain annoying. The game doesn't have to be a history textbook, but I expect basic ww2 hallmarks to be met in a ww2 game. Small details will go a long way in ensuring quality.
