@mothman66766 жыл бұрын
Drader THE PROPHET OF AIDEN they openly stated that it will be the most historically accurate depiction of ww2
@abynighteater56706 жыл бұрын
Here are all the mistakes I had found on these weapon depictions. RSC SMG : 1. The RSC SMG was only a prototype weapon which was experimented on between the end of the Great War and a couple of years after but was in the end abandonned, the weapon being intended to serve in the hand of tank crews, the full size 8 mm Lebel cartridge it fires was considered unecessary and more trouble inducing than anything else considering the overall size of the weapon. Therefore, it never made it through any combat scenarios, especially during WW2, where the french had an actual SMG adopted, the MAS 38 SMG which is present in the game. 2. The rate of fire of the real thing was slower, if it was that fast, it would be completely uncontrolable considering the weight of the weapon and the lack of a stock. 3. This "extended mag" is bullshit, the actual magazine used as a base one in the game, which is a Chauchat 20 rounds magazine, was the most the weapon could carry, it was either that, or a 8 round clip, used at the begining of the testings for the prototype. AVS 36 : 1. The weapon should produce a hell of a lot more recoil than that. 2. It was a pretty darn rare weapon to see on the battlefield. 3. This Extended mag is bullshit. Federov Avtomat : 1. "Automaton" ? REALLY? 2. The weapon was only produced at the end of the great war and until the 20-30's, after that, it had pretty much disapeared from the radar. 3. Guess what? This extended mag is bullshit. De Lisle Carbine : 1. The weapon is put in the Sniper rifle category despite firing a pistol round, the 45 ACP. 2. Dat scope. 3. The weapon should produce close to no recoil. 4. Somehow, the weapon eject rifle round casings. 5. ..blah blah extended mag bullshit blah blah... Mosin Nagant : 1. ...3-Line Rifle...Seriously?? Is that so hard and expensive to actually get the rights to name your weapons properly Activision? 2. This extended mag gave me ebola. 3. The scope reticule should be a T-post, pretty much like the Kar98k one in the game. 4. Despite having an inacurate extended mag, the weapon seem to only hold one more bullet. 5. You cannot get rid of the clip by pushing the bolt forward on a Mosin Nagant. It is to say that obviously, I do not have the a perfect knowledge of any single weapon in the universe so if I'm wrong or forget things please let me know. Also, if you don't care about these mistakes, that's fine but you can keep your "it's just a game bruh" comment.
@abynighteater56706 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the updates mate. Yet, the excuse that some of these mistakes are for "gameplay purposes" is pretty low, considering they could easely switch some things and still manage to have a balanced game, which it isn't that much in the first place. Look at Battlefield 1, at least the attributes of the weapons are in general pretty well respected. RSC SMG : 1. I trust you on that one. 3. Emphasis on "tested". Federov Avtomat : 1. We're talking Activision there, they could have easely bought the rights. Dice/EA did. Mosin Nagant : 1. Interesting, thanks for the info. 2. You can't possibly tell me that it was as common as that. Possible, I believe it, but not the most common of things, especially considering the economical state of the USSR as they entered the war. 5. The Lebel 1886 litterally worked with a tubular magazine and couldn't accept any stripper clip, you had to load the darn thing one bullet at the time, so I don't get what you're trying to say. And of all the Mosin I've seen being shot, NONE of them could accept such a trick.

3-line rifle is actually a very good designation given how the weapon in game looks like a full length rifle rather than a carbine. given that, also the magazine is in line with the type used in older 3-line formations which is most likely where the name actually came from. the historical basis obviously being the practice of 3 lines of men firing in volleys.

Kinda an incredible journey. The thing was one of about 3000+. It was chambered in 6.5 Arisaka from a Japanese import because getting the Russian Empire (1915) to field a new cartridge was out of the question. Some German managed to capture it from non-standard use (it was withdrawn from the Red Army in '28) and decides to keep the unreliable thing, AND a bunch of magazines for it (it was fed with clips because magazines are expensive and complex) and a whole bunch of these rounds, and take it with him to the Western Front with all that equipment, just to be killed by a self-healing American GI who's gay for a Jew who can stab his own hand without bleeding who carries a magical locket of the Virgin Mary and uses it with recoil-cancelling powers to kill more Germans.

They also Lied to us, Here's a bonus fact, In COD:WWII The Panzerschreck is made for infantry only, While in real life it was made to destory Tanks.
@notoriousp.1.g6546 жыл бұрын
True but sometimes maybe sometimes infantry carried panzer Faust
@imanoblekobel23turtle356 жыл бұрын
Notorious P.1.G The Panzerfaust and Panzershreck are different guns, The Panzerfaust took 149mm and had no recoil when fired. The Panzershreck was a Shoulder fired version and took 88mm (Possibly?) I could only imagine that the Panzerschreck and Panzerfaust were only used by infantry in case tanks came out.
@philipsthepelican72156 жыл бұрын
They took a bf1 ribeyrolles, removed the paint, added recoil- removed the bipod and they added a chauchat magazine. The Automaton is like the Fedorov Avtomat. At least they fixed the sniper reload. GG

Ribeyrolls here isn't even a real life Ribeyrolls, it's the Chauchat-Ribeyrolls SMG from 1918-1919. And why the fuck it has an AA sight?
@erundain45676 жыл бұрын
Why Fedorov Avtomat is called Automaton? The proper name is free to use. But no, Sledgehammer gave it the most fucked up name I've ever heard.

It's safe to say that battlefield copied the back2fronts mod for cod 2 then because since your playing "who did it first".that mod had those weapons wayy before battlefield

i find it greatly amusing that in bf1, the mosin nagant is the only rifle that has 5 separate intricate reload animations. And here the mosin is the only rifle they gave the same treatment Just more fuel to the "copied battlefield" fire

The first gun is a Ribeyrolles with a Chauchat's magazine The "automaton" is an Avtomat Fiodorova The "3-line rifle" is an M91 Mosin-Nagant rifle
@thestørmcrier20246 жыл бұрын
The Automaton is really the Russian built Fedorov-Avtomat assault rifle. Chambered in 6.5mm arisaka, it was fed by 25 round magazines. Was designed for use by Russian troops in World War I and saw some usage in World War II. This gun is also in battlefield 1 in the medic class
@josephlambert15656 жыл бұрын
Gun two is Fedorov Avtomat. None was used in WWII. They was discontinued in 1922 due to the use of the Arisaka rounds.

I wish they brought more things back from World at war, like how a lot of weapons didn’t sound the same. I also miss the blood stains when you shoot, and shoot dead bodies, there would be little blood holes from the impact. I’m in sure EVERYONE misses one shot head shots, they don’t go down in one headshot anymore in these games
@KoffeeDoggo6 жыл бұрын
i think why these guns sound like paint ball was due to the lack of sounds echoes through out the area. So instead of the sound "PAHHHH*click*HHH" they sound more like "PA.......*click*"
@hungryfilms37076 жыл бұрын
Wow these guns sound better than the original guns in the game but I wish they echoed longer
@Gbrooks-tn1yq6 жыл бұрын
From my understanding, you can't push the bolt forward on a Mosin and the stripper clip would fly off the gun like a Mauser. The Mosin wasn't made to do that and wasn't able to

Rather interesting that they included the Ribeyrolles RSC smg considering it was never made in huge numbers or even issued(it was supposed to be a tank crew weapon) and was VERY likely long lost by WW2, with no examples surviving. Ah it's just a game....

The Ribeyrolles is actually a Chauchat with a short barrel. So its basically a machine gun not a smg

So they added the LMG/SMG from World War I which is known for the worst LMG/SMG in the history. The ammo got clogged up by mud, wrong ammunition, shaky recoil, and they’re forced to use 18-19 rounds in the magazine so it won’t get clogged up. Can they even use the bipod in this game? Of course they have to add the most bizarre and unrealistic weapon into the game. I am done with Call Of Duty.
