I am 21 and i live with my momma and dad and i am so completely blessed they're there for me when i need them and for every step of the way and they are guiding me to find a good well paying job with well hours so i can live on my own and do things on my own so when i live on my own eventually i will definitely give them a call when i need them or just want to talk and tell them how grateful i am that they have always been there for me since i was a baby ♥

You're lucky Evynne... I lost my dad when I was 7 turning 8, and I have had a step dad, sister, and brother since then, of course along with my mom, big sis and little brother; and I'm not, I CAN'T be close with any of them. But having you and Peter and little Ashland, although far away, and never able to meet face to face, you guys give me strength. And I Thank you. And I hope that when I become a mother, (if I can) I give him or her the relationship that I never got.

Awesome! Your parents will be touched by this. Coming from someone who lost both parents to cancer, I totally agree with Evynne - CALL your parents and let them know you love them and that they have made a difference in your life. I did this while my parents were around, I would just give the world for one more moment with them letting them know what is going on with my kids lives. But you can not once they are gone. So, call them and let them know. IF you are not talking with your parents, reconcile with them. Life is too short to be at odds with anyone. Forgive and try to move on with your parents in your lives.

You are so fortunate to have a close family! I have raised my daughter practically alone and the only time she gets with my parents or her dad's is through Skype or when it is convenient to them. Mine live out of state, though. I call often, just don't see often. Thanks for sharing your experiences. :)

Beautiful vlog :) glad to see such a healthy relationship with your parents. They are people too with their own experiences and thoughts and dreams. Mine have been there through a lot of rough times in my young adult life. I'm not the easiest to love at times but their patience and guidance sustains me.

I can't handle all these feels. >: My mom is my best friend in this entire world. I love spending time with her and talking to her about everything. She keeps me positive and happy and motivated and I love her more than anything in this world. I am not looking forward to moving 3 1/2 hours away from her. Luckily, it IS only 3 1/2 hours so that will mean monthly visits!

You are so lucky I was raised by the state through multiple homes so my kids do not have grandparents in their life but they do have multiple people who take on a bit of that roll I am a single mom with a 16yr old son who has Cystic Fibrosis and a 13yr old Daughter who was just recently diagnosed with Epilepsy we started Vlogging our journey as a single parent home in May and we have gained such an amazing support group through KZbin!!

Dear *****, thank you for this video, which made me both happy and sad. Unfortunately, I can't simply call my parents, for my mother died two years ago and my father is too ill to really notice... I really am thankful for my parents and now, being a father myself, it hits me really hard sometimes how much I'd want, need and like their (especially my mothers) guidance and support... We and our daughters get much love and support by my wife's parents - for me it's not the same, though...

Hi Ev, Listening to you talk about your parents reminded me of the time I was talking to my kids and when I was done I said to myself " I sound just like my Dad ! " Are you guys going to catch a Broadway play for Peter's Birthday ?...............Tony

I wasn't allowed to watch PG-13 movies until I was 13, maybe even a little older. And I wasn't allowed to watch R movies until 17. My parents were, and still are, not too strict, but try and protect me any way they can. A lot of my friends thought my parents were dumb for not letting me watch PG-13 and R movies when I was younger, but they just wanted to protect me. And they did.
