Just picked up a 4I and now using it as a driving iron. Feels and sounds so much better than most of the driving irons out there (Srixon ZX Utility, Titleist U510 and U500, etc). I love my U510 2i but this sounds, feels much better and it’s a bit smaller so show off the deck seem a little easier.

How much is the set? Who cares!!! You just need the 7 iron & wedge and your good to go. Add in your driver and a putter leaving plenty of space in the bag for beers

I Q yeah agreed. Got some XR Steelheads a few years old, work fine for me. I’d love if more manufacturers put lofts instead of numbers on the bottom

Im curious whats the yardage gap between the 27 degree 7 iron and the 31.5 degree 8 iron...lets say its 60 yards, so my question is how does the 7 iron perform on the green with a less than full swing when you are trying to hit it 30 yards less.

Gapping would be around 15-20 yards for me. The decent angle is very steep so I would still image it would stop!

Only problem with these is the set PW is 41 degrees... so you’ll need an approach wedge, gap wedge, sand wedge and lob wedge too...

@@alexetchesgolf Certainly not a problem to add the wedges when your 5 or 6 iron matches up with your fairway or hybrid in the gapping. The distances we are seeing from these clubs a person might not even need a fairway or hybrid in the bag. TXG guys were blasting the 4 iron up around 270 yds. Kind of ridiculous. I won't buy em but I'm definitely going to find a Callaway demo day and try em

I'm from canada too😂 we have much different grass up here, you see it a lot in places like New York and Ohio, also in colder parts of California. The stuff in this video is pretty common to the stuff you will see in florida and hot climates. I think the grass here is bermuda grass but I'm not 100% sure. It is real though
