Bryan invites us (White folk like me) to, first, just merely hear words that are both uncomfortable to hear but also words I’ve longed to respond to. He does it with so much maturity (for instance without unmerciful judgement) that I can hear what he is saying while he says some very uncomfortable things. That graceful yet truth-telling manner becomes an invitation I can accept. As a White man I could not initiate these conversations. I have been SO grateful that, through his lines of reasoning, my concerns for the Black community in America have been able to be expressed and given a structure to facilitate at least some level of forward motion.

What an amazing blessing for us at Crossroads to hear from the modern day legend Mr. Stevenson. I’d give this interview a 10/10 if the audio wasn’t balanced so poorly! I know Crossroads can do better. I’ve been a member for almost 20 years - I’ve seen it! Other than having to constantly surf the volume slider, this was amazing.

There are too many, unjustly accused of being guilty without that prior privilege to be assumed innocent with an initial guilty charge without that proof. This is given to the few, depending on their culture, race, position held and/or their reputation within a community…..💔🙏🏽
