Analizing those numbers it looks like its just 1 vote per Franchise that they did. Basically meaning that 3% is actually 3,33% and thats only 1 vote. 7% is 2 votes (in reality 6,66%), etc. I think it could be a nice detail to analize it further next year! With 3% or ´´rest of the votes´´ means that their own organization voted for them only, which makes for example the Kyrie outlier make ´´more sense´´, as it probably was only a Dallas vote for him. Still crazy stupid, but like you mentioned, probably not taking it too serious by the Mavs

Those players are sg. This new nba plays small ball and play out of position mismatches. So put the sg at pf/sf gets them guarded by the slower 4 and then on opposite side they guard the 2 or the 3

The NBA using percentages in this is so misleading and makes it seem like more people think stuff that are just one person. When it's just 30 GMs, 3% is just 1 GM out of 30 (3.33%), 7% is 2 GMs out of 30 (6.67%), 10% is 3 out of 30, 17% is 5 GMs, and so on. Every 1 GM is 3.3%
