From watching most of our games this year. I can confirm, it's like watching a different team with Kyle. Our tempo and defense feels so much closer to what'd needed for championship basketball nowadays. And Kyle's passing has been a godsend to a team with no real facilitators at the guard recently. Just being able to let Bam attack instead of him feeling like he needs to set people up has been huge.

As a wolves fan all I’m going to talk about is the fact that we lost by 2 when our starters shot a collective 4/21 from 3. We couldn’t buy a bucket at the end of the game when it mattered, and Anthony Edwards went 0-6 from 3. KAT got out-hustled on the glass all night and Malik Beasley was the spark and the only reason our offense stayed in that game. Defensively, I’m happy with our production but we couldn’t find the bottom of the basket when it mattered most.

For MPJ he's currently in a slump very similar to his rookie year. We saw last year what he could do when he put up great numbers on insane efficiency. But even though he hasn't dialed in on offense yet, his defense and rebounding had been a great improvement this year. He just needs to get back in the flow of things and return to his scoring ways. But even without that the Nuggets are winning so if he returns to full force it will be a joy to watch as the Nuggets would arguably become the best team in the West.

On the championship run he was our 3rd scorer and was shooting 50% from the corner 3 and that was coming off the offseason where he was on team USA and missed the first couple months due to injury. The following year he improved his defensive ability and rebounding both to very comfortably above average levels whilst being above league average in 3 pt% too. He played well especially when he was cutting, just bloody Schroder liked to ice him all the time. Sheep just got stuck on the lowlights he had and his fashion sense (which was crap lmao)

That open 3pt stat for the heat is how raptors ran their defense two years ago. Teams never leveled out and shot better against them because all the switching and such took a mental toll and made it really difficult to shoot open shots confidently. The ghost defender is what I think it was called.
