My dad came home from saying he saw a UFC and everyone got out their cars to see it. We got in the car and found it and followed it for hours around Chicago suburbs. It stopped by 3+ antennas with the red blinking lights. It was high up but not airplane high. I was formally a part time Uber driver in Colorado. I picked up a retired US Navy pilot. One hour drive. For at least 20 mins of it; I had to ask about what he and his crew saw about UAP's (UFO's). He more than explained his career primarily flying Harriers on ships, Japan, Guam, North African sorties etc etc. He said without hesitation he "saw them, filmed them, tracked them via FLIR (foward looking infrared radar), a device on the wing. They always fly with 2 aircraft, thus 4 humans witnessing apparently constant events. He said they were tracked by the ships (AEGIS) phased array system on the cruisers mostly I think. Like Cmdr Fravor he said they came from above 80,000ft i think the range maybe of the system. They would mirror the jets. Then when 'done' this pilot said they immediately sling shotted up and away gone. From visual and radar systems. He mentioned that most high level people are more than aware of the existence of these unidentified craft entering our airspace. They made no aggressive maneuvers. Just shadowed, and often. He then went on about the pragmatic fact that we have a job to do; he mentioned dealing with nuclear weapons etc. Also, his description of the crafts were "saucer shaped" 70feet or so. He explained the wingspan of the Harrier is about ~25ft and length ~42 ft. So he was using those dimensions to judge the length of the craft. He noted they exhibited similar movements; or PERCEIVED movements of the "ping pong ball in a glass" example. But we are not sure if that is just the gravitational field propulsion distortion. I could go on. But I will leave it there. Peace out world. Love your take of the world Ben. Keep it up.

The UFO caller at 2:25 was not extreme. I saw something similar back in 1966 before we had many satellites in orbit. It looked like a "star" that moved across the sky only to stop on a dime several times before it slowly faded away. As it got dimmer it seemed to vibrate or quiver as it went away. It didn't seem to be making its own light but was reflecting light like the moon does. I told this story years ago as a teenager and I was ridiculed and told I was drunk or high. But I wasn't and I had very sharp eagle eyes. My buddy was with me too and he also saw it. No satellite can stop on a dime without slowing down only to move and stop again.

It's easy to think about the times where they might feel afraid to say something, but don't think of the times where they've specifically acted towards a person/organization in a specific way due to what they've said or done. I honestly believe some group on earth has technology light years ahead of the rest of us. As I kid I saw what appeared to be 3 greenish triangles pointed inwards that moved in a way he described it to a certain part of the sky (near center to our perspective). As a Christian I have no problem believing in life forms from other worlds. The Bible does not state clearly that there are or are not, however I do know that God is a builder and creator, he made the whole universe and probably continues to create things since he does it so well. After all we are made in his image and we do things well that we like to do, why would he be any different. I do NOT put God in a box and leave all things open regarding him, what he does and what he may create. I do believe that God has a plan for earth and us, so I do not think God would allow anything to interfere with his plans such as an aliens taking over and controlling us. Remember that God IS IN CONTROL of everything.

I have a similar story to Fred's story actually around the same time in 1998. I saw an Orange orb very bright but not a glowing like just there, solid orb of light reddish orange that was zipping around back and forth 3 or 4 times. Then diagonally from left to right then a loop and went diagonally up behind a cloud n disappeared. It was on my birthday and in California at a TGIF where we sat in a booth along a the windows that gave me a clear look off the mall across the street and the sky it was dark and probly around 6 or 7pm. I have a another story but it is different not UFO related but possible encounter or abduction.

i got shivers from that UFo story/sighting cause it's so similiar to what i saw around 98-99' . i was watching the stars from the second floor window of my cousins house. i was baffled about this 1 very bright looking star. it seemed like it could be a planet but then again it was way too bright for a planet or any kind of star. i looked at wondered for about a minute and suddently it flashed in quick succession few times and just shot straight upwards with speeds that rival shooting stars. it was so powerful moment i remember it like it was yesterday even tho so many years have passed. i know deep inside what i saw . One doesn't simply believe in aliens like they do Santa or the tooth fairy... 🤦 But we know other life must exist somewhere else in the universe because the chances of life happening randomly is miniscule. I completely agree with Ben about if aliens had found us, they definitely would have made contact.

as someone who’s a VERY slow reader (not bc of a lack of intelligence but i just have a short attention span) listen to the audio book (I like audible) at the same time as you read the book. It’s great and audible is pretty cheap too
