Justin has been an eye-opener to me in so many ways, but one of my favorite gifts from Justin is the revelation that the New Testament writers were, in many cases, actually _lying._ Somehow I never made this connection before -- I guess I just thought they were deluded, or mistaken...and in some cases, maybe that's what was happening. But in other cases they were absolutely telling bald-faced lies, and they knew it. Understanding this fact has transformed my view of the New Testament writers.

Most of the time these pathetic rebuttals are constructed by one or a few mentally degenerate reprobates like Plantinga, Hovind and Comfort and disseminated widely. At most they know it was written by someone else so therefore it couldn't be first person. That's usually why all apologetics sound the same and why so many apologists don't understand the arguments they are making because they heard it from a source of a source.
