From Calli's pov, the pineapple man was violating the gun law (which Subaru herself said to uphold, the irony.) The timing was just so immaculate that Calli arrived as soon Subaru was "running from the cops" when she was just trying to get away from all the attention. Laplus also scammed Ceci by telling her that she had "much money" and then ran away after getting the ice cream and fan service that Ceci's selling. Then back to the clip where Subaru is wearing a pineapple mask with a hentai suit; she wears it to clean Laplus name.
