Oh no poor Callie. I pray she’s doing better.🙏 I wouldn’t go back to that vet either. They shouldn’t miss twice giving a shot. Maybe in a couple weeks you can find a different vet and she can get her second shot then.

Our baby boy beagle, Buddy had to be put down in Nov because of a burst aneurysm in his brain, we miss him terribly. It is always so sad when our furbabies are traumatized or can't be healed.

Agree, hopefully she won't associate the previous traumatic experience with the new vet. We had that problem with Kerby and I couldn't get him out of the carrier.

callie is still traumatized you made the right decision not to take her find her a new doctor. and tell them what happened to her when you meet the new doctor and they will treat her with more care if they are worth being her new doctor.

as far ah how i would have acted they would have been calling me names when i left the office lol my fur babies are just that my babies. now i know my dog is reactive and she does have to be medicated but her vets know this and treat her so kind when she is there even though she is still very upset when they walk into the room. she is a lil dog and has past trauma from her last family. my kitty he is so sweet but skittish but acts good at the vet but they still treat him like the sweet boy he is. a good vet is worth everything to you and when they gain your pets trust its wonderful. EF that vet like i said write a review give them one star and move on to a new one and give callie the space she needs to recover and just speak loving words to her and treats and her fave cat food or tuna juice. tuna juice is my cats comfort food lol

@ i know my dog is always mad at me for a couple days gives me her lil doggy back and when i go to her she gives me a dont even look lol my cat he just does what callie is doing then he is ok im glad she is better today

Our Catman hates the vet. Always has. We saw him in action and the way he claws and wiggles it’s hard for them to give the shots or anything. I am shocked your hubby did not get scratched. Catman has his claws. They will not declaw here. It’s cruel. But they need to get their shots. They have told us Catman is so traumatized by going to the vet it was better to give him something to calm him. As much as we don’t like seeing him upset he needs to go see the vet at times. We love our Vet.

I had similar. No hand dryer though. The idiot went to grab the scruff of his neck. Didn't tell us she was going to do that. Well of course, Dresden did not like that and he lashed out. Thankfully at another vets but he's VERY cautious now. 🇬🇧

It was Foothills Veterinary clinic. We’ve gone there with all our cats. She has a vet at home so we will just go there.

time for a new vet. a good vet should know she was upset because of the hand dryer, i dunno why they would even have one in the room knowing cats roam in the room while waiting. and wtf is up with the vicious cat on her chart..ask to see her chart make sure they have the correct chart and read when and why they added that to her chart, maybe she was mishandled by one of the vets or vet assistants and she got upset like she was then. give her some love and extra treats. just go get her shots if they gave you meds for her give them to her because she is gonna be upset still. then go and do a review on callies care on their website and find a new vet

I wouldn't go back to that Vet. I hope you can report that Vet. That is so upsetting to hear. Then the Vet misses the shot and it hits Bob. Take her somewhere else where the Vet and staff love animals. I am upset just hearing how awful you and Bob and Miss Callie were treated.

We are taking her to her regular vet up in WA after we go home. Bob sent a letter of complaint to the manager of the place.
