Hi David, Do I need to do the foundation before the Italics? Is FOUNDATION just a name or a necessary foundation to built upon. Because I prefer the look of the italics.

I see a book called 'A handbook for students of calligraphy' which I understand it was written by you :-) . Would it be possible to get a copy of that? I'm waiting for my Parallel pen to arrive in the mail. Oh btw did you know where Pilot got that name for this pen? It's from Joseph's Champion's book of the same name. Champion was a student of George Bickham (1684-1758) who himself in 1741 published "The Universal Penman".

... I'm assuming it is a weird joke you're playing on your viewers then. I enjoy your instruction but the uncertainty of knowing when a spider will appear causes enough anxiety for me to now avoid your videos. I know: not your problem and I fully recognize that it is my own discomfort. However, I thought you might like to know that your humor is not a joke to all.

Thats ok Claudio. I'm sure you are right that my video is not good quality, but I am not a professional film maker. I hope my teaching is better than my video skills. We British think it is very important to be polite and respectful. I am trying to share my knowledge freely for anyone to use. This can't be a bad thing, can it?
