I think the point was missed. This is an example of an "infancy" use of big data. The power wasn't in tracking the # of people getting the flu, but rather the geography's where flu was present. As we better understand the questions to ask of the big data we collect, can't help but to see a big data revolution.

High school basketball showed in top 100 not top 45...actually all top 45 search queries were flu related.
