God bless and good luck from Oklahoma. Feels like agriculture is being attacked everywhere right now

You Sir are a true champion for good. Your honest and transparent sharing of knowledge and pointing out improper and incorrect information and propaganda brings all these government led and taxpayer funded associations into disturbing lights. I commend you - keep strong.

not too long ago, in NSW at least, the value of lamb fell through the floor. it cost more to transport them to the sale yards than the payment received on sale. there also was yards refusing to take any lambs due to the numbers being sent to them. It was a case of cheaper to shoot them in the paddock than to sell them at a cost. was this part of the RSPCA live export ban?

Yeah i don't donate to RSPCA anymore because a few years ago, Tabled in Parliament on Tuesday, the 33-page report details a lack of accountability, a failure to establish codes of practice for the animal types the RSPCA Queensland regulates, no structured processes for complaints about inspectors and no conflict of interest procedures. The Auditor-General’s report comes on the back of recent claims where the Queensland RSPCA was accused of targeting certain pet shops and breeders, charging exorbitant fees for animal care and telling anyone who complains about them to “take it to court”.

Well said Jack. I can see a market for both live export AND on-shore processing.

We are dealing with a group of unrealistic idealists who don't really want to know where their food comes from. I have seen the sheep ships leaving Perth, and it may seem that the volume alone looks inhumane. We are talking about food stock, which are not treated like pets anywhere in the world. Keep up the fight!

Hey if we all become vegetarians there is going to be nothing for the animals to eat

Thank you Jack for bringing this to our attention. I watched your show earlier and I looked at what is happening in America (for no other reason than we follow them). It seems that there is a concerted effort to shut down farming as we know it. The attack in America is on the small scale farming (at the moment) using the most transparent of reasons. We the people are being screwed, death by a thousand cuts. Where will this end?

Agreed Jack.. My understanding is that with Cattle exports the carrier is paid based on the number of animals which walk off the ship at the destination port. Therefore if the conditions on the ship are poor and lots of animals die the carrier does not get paid for transporting those animals. Apparently this change was put in place about 15 years ago and improved animal welfare for cattle while onboard the ships.. Why can't we implement this as a standard condition of animal transport no matter if it's a Cow, Bull, Sheep, Goat, Camel etc.. ?

I haven't had anything to do with the RSPCA for some years after recognising their biased self interest. I used to support them financially but no more.

OH another point there.. So the Government has stated that live export will cease in 2028 and therefore we have 4 years to prepare for the transition to on shore processing.. How many abattoirs could you build in 4 years particularly given the pace at which our Council's and State governments approve these developments. I assure you not enough to accommodate, if any at all. Let’s also mention the issue of labour.. We currently have an unemployment rate of 4% which essentially means 99% of employable Australians are already employed. Who is going to work in these abattoirs.?

And they don’t care about the port of arrival. Where the animals are treated badly and killed stressfully. Because halal meat is better.
@williamsmith55145 ай бұрын
You are basing your comment on old videos recorded 10 years ago , anyhow today most of the stock transported from W.A goes to modern processing facilities similar to practises here in Australia and managed by Australian crews to guarantee painless deaths of the animals . So i call your bluff !
