This is a wonderful explanation, humanizing Jesus. I have never looked at it this way. This pastor is right. Jesus was possibly suffering from ACCUTE STRESS DISORDER. This is the precurser to PTSD, which, of course, Jesus did not experience. But who is more to understand PTSD than Jesus? I'm just thinking outloud here.
