After all this time, Cold War still has one of the best reveal trailers in the whole series. And its backed up by one of the best campaigns the series has seen in a long time too. Or 2021's Call of duty could be a WW2 set only in the Pacific theater. Sledgehammer Games did a European Theater with WW2 ( Ronald Red Daniels, William Pierson) so this time it should be set entirely in the Pacific...it could portray the battles of Iwo Jima, Midway Islands, Hacksaw Ridge (2016 movie, Andrew Garfield) , it could have the USS Indianapolis (Philippine Sea) and the USS Arizona of Pearl Harbor - alternate history of USS Arizona where the soldiers are warned the Japanese will attack and try to fight back against the bombers..
