Calls grow for ex-Gambia leader's extradition

A plan to establish a special tribunal to prosecute former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh for alleged human rights violations has raised hopes for justice among victims. Many are now urging stronger efforts to extradite Jammeh, in exile in Equatorial Guinea since 2017, along with other implicated figures.
