when he passed away in 1993 i was just a kid but thru his movies i felt an instant connection... he is 13 years older than me but somehow we dont feel that far apart.... he was always an old soul trapped in a young persons body... the way he looked at the world and analyzed things... he was quite profound.

Hard to believe, he would be 47 years old today. I wasn't even born yet when I died at such a young age. So far I've seen him only in three of his films and Stan by me is my favourite one, love that you included some clips from this one. Also, a lot of photos and some footage I've never seen before - amazing finds! As always, I love the song choice, it goes very well with the editing. You work with limited amount of clips and photos and yet each video of yours is different from the previous ones, every video brings different emotions. Great work, I absolutely love it!

Amazing tribute! I finally got something River used say tattooed on my shoulder "In simplicity there is truth" I was 18 when he died he will always be in my heart even though I never met him he was and will always be an inspiration to me in so many ways.
