QOTD: the best part of GBL gotta be those moments where you just completely obliterate a tanky Pokemon with the right move, like landing Close Combat onto Basti, or Blizzard onto Altaria, especially when it ends up flipping a match up causing your victory. A lot of my viewers genuinely don't even battle much anymore but competitions like this inspire them to battle again, but obviously they're then at a very low rank (like below rank 20). Obviously it's cool to see spice take on high level players & win, but it's also cool to see all sorts of players take part in the competition!

My elo went from the highest it's ever been to the lowest it's ever been in trying to get a good match 😅 half the difficulty is trying to get a match where the opponent isn't completely terrible/hard countered but that you can still win while showing off your team
