Your family is such an inspiration to others. Thank you for homeschooling your children. You are giving them a gift of immeasurable worth. Blessing and Love.

Perfect timing for me to see this video. I treat myself to a little KZbin while I eat lunch between household tasks! And the back to school season can create such overwhelm for all of us parents whether it’s home school or public school as my kids are heading into this week. I literally wrote down your words to remind myself to flip on the positive perspective because it IS true. Today I found calm in preserving heaps of green beans, right before sitting down to your video. It’s cool knowing others feel the same. To the season! May we feel gratitude and contentment in its bounty 🙏🏻

Hi Shaye! First, I’m so excited for the new addition to your home! It’s looking fabulous and I can’t wait to see it all finished! Pls make sure you let us see the process! Okay, so now for the real reason I dropped everything to leave a comment. I was born in Cuba and had really bad asthma, so bad the dr at the emergency room told my mom, “go ahead and get pregnant with another child bc you lost this one.” (I was 5) But GOD!! My mother left the hospital and a really old lady told her to get an eggplant, make an incision on it, put it on top of a cup and whatever water would drop for me to drink it, every day (God uses all kinds of things to heal His people- I’m reminded of the mud on the eyes of a blind man in the Gospels) so I drank it, everyday and I never ever suffered from asthma again. Glory to God. I came to this beautiful country of mine when I was 8, I’m 50 and my mother died believing that that eggplant water healed her daughter. Ps I don’t like eggplant 😬 😅😂

"Perspective" has been my word for the year for several years now because I keep learning new aspects of its significance. We really can be our own best friend or worst enemy simply by the perspective we choose to embrace. I love how you re-frame your garden status: while you may feel that both sides of the coin are true, it's more productive and positive to dwell on the good. We can all take a lesson in that in some area of our lives instead of burning ourselves out on overwhelm & negativity. 👍

Oh how I wish I could come volunteer for weed duty at your place! When I was a kid I hated it, but now as an adult I love, love, LOVE weed pulling! One of my favorite things to bring me joy and recharge my batteries is to bring order to chaos. So weed pulling, loading the dishwasher, organizing messy areas, etc... makes me feel so good! I know, I know, I've got a screw loose! 🤪 And I can totally see how it would become just so overwhelming at a place the size of yours. But alas, as much as I would love to offer my services (I live in Spokane, but come home to Almira a couple of times a month), I am in a wheelchair and think there would be some accessibility issues, lol! 😉 Thank you for the wonderful content you share with all of us! I always look forward to new videos and new inspirations from you! God bless you and yours! ❤
