this is great for my parakeet, Oswald! He's kinda scared of me IDK why and I've had him for a while but this I think kinda calms him down when I'm around. but I have been doing research on how to bond with him and make him happy and it said to play music for him and this is my absolute favorite, so thank you so much for this beautiful piece.

I love my two birds. I remember when I was nine, I never used to take care of them. Then one day it hit me. "Will they spend their whole days sheltered?" So now I take my time out of my day talking to the birds, whistling to them, reading to them. I will do anything to gain their trust. Anything. Why? Because they are living creatures too, and I have avoided them for too long. They now live inside my room, so they can get used to me, and familiarize themselves with my scent. Sorry, Olive and Sherlock. I should have taken better care of you. Luckily I sill have you guys.

thank you my parakeets been through alot when he was about 5 months old he hit my cieling fan we took him to the vet the vet people said he has a 50/50 percent chance he will survive they said if he does survive he will lose his legs then after they got done my parakeet survived now me and my parakeet listen to this song everynight and day thank you so much for helping my bird calm down i love him so much thank you 😢 i hope you all love your birds too ☺😉

budgies are from the parrot-family. they are extremely sensitive and intelligent. therefore they have many specific needs. please inform yourself what you can do, to improve their living area. give fresh food(fruits/grass/herbs) everyday. make sure they have a good standing place, a bright spot where they can harvest sunlight to make vitamin D(but no direct sunlight) ect ect ect just PLEASE INFORM YOURSELF and be worthy to the luck, to have those beautiful animals around you.

The wild bird that roosts in my roof-mounted forced air heater (not working) has developed a love for music. From the start, this bird has been listening to me via the heater ducts connected to each room in the house. For the first few weeks, I played softer toons in order not to harm the bird mentally. As the weeks became months, it became clear that the bird can handle and enjoy just about any kind of music. This morning I played big band swing music from the 1930's and 40's and the bird loved it the most. The bird needs music really bad....I think music is bird heroin. The bird prefers to listen to music all of the time which is impossible, but we've been listening to music together, now, over 3 months at around 5 or 6 hours per day. This experience has greatly broadened my musical horizons, since I try not to repeat toons. The bird enjoys classical, rock, country, old timey music, jazz, ancient music of all kinds, oriental music, just about anything. The bird encourages me to get up in the morning by tweeting when I make a noise like yawning or any little movement, in order, I'm certain, to get the music started. There is much more about this bird that is not normal. Ask me a question. I have recordings of the bird chirping as proof that I'm not hallucinating this stuff, which is the normal conclusion people have when I mention the bird.

@@BrittneyBeatle92 - The bird took off and didn't come back. It was frightened by the smoke alarm that went off because of spend batteries. Damn those things are loud. It was in the room just below the heater box. After 3 days and no return of the bird, I bent back the bent louvers on the side of the heater box to prevent any more bird roosting. The bird did not like human discussion, so I couldn't watch TV or watch lectures on You Tube. And it tweeted every time I made a mistake while practicing the guitar. And I listened to so much music, that I stopped listening for about 3 months. after the bird left. Being supervised by a bird has it's down sides, but I miss it.

My sister has a new baby african lovebird. She's almost a month now. I always babysit her so she kinda close to me. Our family is not used with raising pet bird but our little "Sinag", her name, is an ultimate bundle of joy. She made the atmosphere at home light and lovely. She's small but she made a huge impact on our crumbling family. She's gluing everyone that's why I always think that she is God's blessing to us. She's having a rough time since we are changing her feeding schedule, from every 4hrs into 3times a day. So she always chirp and demand food even her tummy is still bit full. I imagine how hard her adjustment is, for a baby bird like her, that's why I understand her grumpiness. Thanks to this video. I got to calm her. It made her sleepy and at peace. I had to separate my 2 budgies cuz one was repeatedly biting the other's tail feathers off. Even with a bigger cage. Still tries if the cage get to close together and the tail feathers are available. Other than that they do everything together. 😊

I was listening to this with my parakeet Tweety ( because they’re yellow) and I was falling asleep to it with Tweety. I have 2 little parakeets 1 is a girl and the other is a boy. Robin (boy) is a baby he doesn’t even have his pupils yet and Keiki was like his mom, that had such a strong bond! Thank you for this calming music. It's the first song I played for my 2 budgies when I first got them. They were young, and very jittery at loud noises or me cleaning their cage at first. More so than all the other birds I have had. I play it for them when cleaning their cage. This music helps them stop and calms them down when they hear it. I just came across this, looking for something else. I recently lost one of my 4 budgies( this past Tuesday😢), and my other 3 babies have been so sad about it. So, I'm playing this now, right in front of them, as they sit on their perch, falling asleep. I will miss my "Lovey," as she was the first one I purchased( and my favorite), but I will make sure to play this everyday, for her mate, "Dovey," and her friends, "Sweetie Pie" and "Big Boy." I got a budgie earlier today. He seemed to be scared so I put this on for him, he sat on the edge of his water tray and now we're listening to this, together. It makes me happy to see that were starting to bond just because of this song. Thank you. /he doesn't have an name yet but heel be getting three more friends on Sunday! / *edit:* his name is Ezume! (Ezoome) it means pure water in Japanese!

My bird fell asleep while playing on the top of the cage, She fell and broke her wing, when i found her she couldn't fly and even let me pet her... i never touch her before because i was scared she wouldn't like me...i knew something was up.. and i found out she did break her wing...(this was my sisters bird) my own bird.. He did pass a few days ago... its so hard.... He had a heart attack and... my sisters bird was so happy when i put this song on.... she was so depressed... and.. i dont think shes going to make it..... im so scared... i dont know what im gonna do if she doesn't make it....

NoahjHairline There are ways to get him to stop doing that in a friendly and effective way. I recommend watching some of "The Parrot Whisperer" videos because he really knows what he's talking about. Hope this helps.

We just found a budgie tired and lost in the park. He hasn't moved he is so tired. We gave him food and water, comfort and a makeshift cage for now. And he seems to like this music also.

omg! this is great. I just got a dove a little over a week ago. she has been super scared of me since the ride home and would be on high alert whenever any of my family members are in the room. sometimes she would even freak out whenever I tried to just feed her, made me so sad and worried. After playing this today, she calmed down so much and even fell asleep in my presence. Also brought 3 buggies home today, they were pretty scared when i first put them in their new cage, now they are super calm. I'm so happy ^^

OMG this music is like a heaven to my budgies . I have a pair , Cookie and Cream , I bought cookie a week ago and he just freaks out whenever I go near him, so I decided to play this music and he immediately came and sat on my knees , soon Cream also came and sat on my other knee . Before I knew , they were asleep and I was like crying . I felt so happy!! I owe a lot of thanks to you. If it hadn't been for you , then I would have never been able to win Cookie's trust! My dog at the age of 16 passed away last November and it’s been really, really hard. We’d listen to this when she became upset. Yesterday was the 6 month mark of her passing and I adopted two budgies , popcorn and Rio. I’ve been playing this and they’ve been calm and more relaxed since. Thank you for this. Everytime I listen to this it brings back memories and makes new ones.
