It's amazing that she said her weakness was procrastination which is one of the worse traits to have as a PM. But she still somehow became very successful. This goes to show that even those people who have weaknesses or traits that they think do not qualify as being a PM can be very successful regardless.

If you live in a enlarge boxed like a 1 bedroom unit and do not venture out of it too often you might start thinking that you have all the answer about the do's and don'ts of a project that you conceive on your own while in there, but of course, listening to this Cal-Southern School of Business lecture given by Greta Blash puts a different spin on that whole idea. She meticulously and single handily goes thru a series of successive steps explaining pitfalls, what is needed, and communication standards that have to practiced in order to get a project started and operating. She even doses her presentations with personal facts and figures, and experiences from working on projects assignments to illustrate circumstances and situations a project manager needs to weave together to keep a project alive and breathing.

By far the best resource on the youtube. I am just staring my PMP journey and I was looking for something like this to grasp the content. Needless to say that most of other courses available are taught in a boring style and fail to give the feel about the subject. So, we need to memorize it all to appear in the exam. Not sure why it is not taught using case study method. Could have been much easier that way!!
@AkshayKumar10xTech8 ай бұрын
Using a case study method could indeed enhance understanding and retention of the material. While some courses may focus on memorization, seeking resources that engage learners with real-world examples can facilitate a deeper understanding of project management concepts. Wishing you success on your PMP exam preparation!

SoCal School of Business, thanks for filming, saving and posting what has to be among the most insightful project management conceptual presentations in the world. Greta Blash really breaks these project management concepts down to a common lame person interpretational style so that just anyone who is seriously considering starting or presenting the grounds for starting a project has an assortment of beginning, mid-term, near end-term, and final term phases of how to keep the project operating with a end goal in mind.
