Never knew there used to be a crossing there! Much has changed over the past decade

Chances are you may have caught one of the trains I was running. And the brakeman, I would have said “since you are telling people what not to do, you shouldn’t be riding the car like that!”

The idea behind this video was to document the final months of the Stockton Ave grade crossing before the City closed it off.

Why was Stockton Avenue closed? All it accomplished was cutting the street in two and force motorists to take the long way around. There was no grade separation project, like, at all. They just tore out the crossing and now the street dead-ends on both sides of the tracks.
@EvanEscher7 жыл бұрын
BNSF1995 there's really no need to cross it unless you're going to one of the places on the east side of the tracks, which you can access from hedding or Taylor. Stockton is not a very busy street, especially at the station there, so there really isn't a need for a crossing of any kind (at grade or grade separation)

Everything Evan Escher said, plus the city and Caltrain didn't want to spend money repairing the road where it crossed the tracks, considering the light auto traffic

I'm gonna share this with my coworkers. I got hired in 2018 some got hired in early 2000s. Some worked in San Jose Station before cemof was built. Cemof is boring San Francisco looks better but the wires are ruining ever thing. The new Emus suck I like our F40s and fake F40s and Mp36s. I have alot of documentation of our fleet when I get off duty I take pictures. The Searchlight signal bridge in 4th and King Station is still being used
