This leaves me breathless. The lighthouse song is overwhelming. I also didn't realize what a great singer Calum is. Wow, wow. Such perfection.

Favorites - 27:27 "Tabula Rasa", 1:02:02 "Waiting", and 1:10:00 "The Nomad". This young man is truly mesmerizing in the way he plays the guitar. I don't think I've seen anybody this talented in this type of acoustic style since Michael Hedges himself. This entire show was incredibly moving for me emotionally, and I think Calum will become a true master at this style as he moves forward in his career.

I started watching and couldn't stop until the end...amazing show. I have a better understanding and appreciation to where much of the "feel" in Calum's music comes from now.

This guy is stunning and I've been following him ever since I discovered him 11 years ago through videos of the canadian guitar festival. Alot of lovely songs but The Nomad is actually a little magical. So glad to see him at it!

There are the Candyrat artists and then there is Calum. “Farewell” has got to be one of the best eulogy songs ever written, literally a modern masterpiece ❤

If I’m not mistaken, the 12th-fret inlay on his harp guitar is the logo / symbol that Michael Hedges came up with late in his career, shortly before his tragic untimely death. I love the fact that Calum’s harp guitar pays subtle homage to Michael in this way. Beautiful and moving - just like his music... just like him.

What piezo pickup is in his first guitar? One needs to avoid that one.

Any word from Calum? I want to see where he is now. He has to make it greater. Can you record him again?

at the time I was working for the venue where he played. I've never worked for him. I don't know that I will ever see him again.

NO!! Leave that off the album! Love ya Calum! You seriously are an amazing acoustic musician and I enjoy playing and listening to you play. I am not saying that this is what you did, but it **seems** like you only picked up and mess with the Harp Guitar, because you are wanting to "Look special"?. I'm not taking anything away from you by saying that, but lets be honest... First and Foremost, Andy McKee is also a great musician however, he appears to not so much write songs strictly for the Harp Guitar, but rather add the HG into an already existing acoustic guitar piece?. Michael Hedges (RIP) actually wrote several pieces of music on the Harp Guitar for the Harp Guitar, AND was one of the First, if not THE First musician to play the Harp Guitar on stage SOLO, and using technique's that were/are unique to Michael Hedges. (Greatest Acoustic Musician that ever lived BTW!!.. EVER!) Hedges reinvented the way the guitar was played, sounded and utilized as did several other greatest ever's, such as Chester Atkins, Merle Travis, William Akerman, and many more. Hedges really played that Harp Guitar. I loved when "Nomad" replayed on the Harp Guitar. It added some amazing accents to the song, Nomad is already ONE of my favorite Calum songs. And it's easy for me to sit and judge others from my computer, and for that? I am sorry, it is just annoying when musicians pull this stuff that's all. Fan forever and no disrespect.
