My mother died on the 13th of October 2024…on her 74th birthday, 10 years after my father, her beloved husband had passed. She so wanted to move on to the afterlife to be with him since he’s been gone. She finally got what she had been longing for after a stroke that left her paralyzed and bedridden for 7 years. I just heard this song today and it reminded me of my parents love for one another. They met when they were 12 and 13 years old. From the moment they met eyes they were in love. This is a beautiful song and every time someone likes or commutes I hope to be brought back here over and over to hear it. I love your voice and have been a fan since you auditioned. I can’t believe today is the first time hearing this. It was meant to be.

My parents were like yours Victoria - they've been together since they were in middle school. They celebrated their 67th anniversary last month. And they still hold hands. I know how lucky I am to have them still with us and relatively healthy at 87 and 89, but yes, this is the kind of love they shared. I have no doubt your mom found your dad again - that kind of love has power beyond our understanding. I feel certain that when the time comes for one of mine to go, the other won't be far behind.
