Very true Pastor Don. I remember in the late 80's i was vacuuming the foyer. I didn't know Kay was teaching. I opened the door to the sanctuary to vacuum. There was Kay teaching a women's study. She saw me, and stopped teaching while I closed the door, and left.

I do not argue with God on male and female issues. What God establishes is a foundation I will not let go. Yes, Men should lead and Women should follow. I care that what God designs in gender. He has always called Men to lead and Women are helpers. This eases my conscience. I am uncomfortable when a man is present. I agree with Kay Smith.

I agree with this but I still don't understand why there's a female preaching on K-Wave at 9 in the morning Saturdays at least I'm a new Christian and not sure how to take it I would appreciate any biblical feedback thank you

Edward I think the biblical qualifier is in the church or in a group of mixed men and women which would be a church gathering like a conference or something. The radio would probably be OK because it’s not setting a precedent of a public gathering in a church like setting before other believers and misrepresenting God’s order. The radio you can simply turn on and turn off. That being said Brian Broderson/Calvary Costa Mesa Corporation unfortunately has gone off the rails regarding this important biblical doctrine. Brian has had many women teaching before mixed men /women congregations including his wife at the recent pastors conference as well as events on Sunday morning so he’s not really following the guidelines set forth here as laid out by Calvary Chapel Association but more importantly the Scriptures. He broke away and started his own thing call Calvary Chapel global network. Brian Broderson Who controls K wave is moving more in areas of man centered programs rather Spirit lead ones to his discredit.

Kevin Walding thank you for the response my concern is I go to Calvary Chapel, and I haven't seen Pastor Lee Coe do anything like this but it does attend the conference I believe I think he only speaks from the word of God as checked it first verse and chapter to chapter. Does this mean the calvary chapels differ in the way they teach I appreciate your feedback God bless you

Edward Yes Calvary Chapel’s are all independent and different now especially with the split between CCA and CCGN. Most Calvary Chapel‘s are independent and have not taken sides. Your pastor Lee Coe remains on both Calvary Chapel association and Calvary Chapel Global Network listings under their Church locators. It looks like he is a solid Bible teaching pastor so I would just stay put if I were a new Christian because you can grow in the Word there. However you should ask your pastor if he’s going to attend the conference on July 14th at Costa Mesa with Broderson. If he says yes I would pray about finding a different Calvary Chapel perhaps Calvary Chapel the Barn in Temecula with Pastor Clark Van Wick. I know it would mean a drive for you but I think that would be a better choice. Any pastor that would continue to allow himself to be influenced by compromised teaching under the oversight of Brian Broderson is going to end up building his own kingdom rather than the Lords. You don’t want to get tied in and allow your heart to cleave to a fellowship that is connected with those who will compromise the teaching of Gods word and promote teachers that speak out of both sides of their mouth such as Rick Warren. These teachers have unfortunately joined the large masses of man pleasers and try to serve both God and money. If a pastor promotes, allows, shares platforms with or condones heretical teaching and teachers even if they’re teaching some good things themselves this means they either are knowingly or unknowingly going to stumble those under them. This could be a bad spiritual and emotional move for your own personal walk with the Lord. After all, we are following Jesus Christ not a man or a ministry. God bless you Edward and give you wisdom. P.S. I know that the founder Pastor Chuck Smith did not agree with Brian Broderson and sought to remove him in his last week here on earth before he went home to be with the Lord. After Chuck Smiths passing Broderson immediately implemented changes that Pastor Chuck disagreed with including joining hands with Rick Warren who is part of the ecumenical movement. This and many other reasons is why this group of men part of CCA in this video decided to split ways with Brian Broderson. The letter they wrote is listed on the association website if you want to read it. Also this is a good clip by Pastor Chuck Smith on the reason why he disagreed with Rick Warren and Brian Broderson who now promotes Warren on K wave and attends ecumenical gatherings with Rick Warren. the woman on K Wave is Cheryl Broderson and even though I do not get to hear her much ,I appreciate her half hour time that she has , to teach women that listen in ..And what she teaches comes from her women's bible study time

I know this is about woman speaking in the Church, but the question came up while listening to this. I know that we are not suppose to judge someone regarding Sabbaths and new moons...since God uses symbols all though the Bible, according to one of the pastors, I think Sandy Adams? isn't the Sabbath not only a commandment but a symbol?In Exodus 31: 13 it is a symbol of Yehovahs sanctification of his people.In Exodus 31:16 it is a symbol of Yehovahs covenant with his people.In Exodus 31:17 It is a symbol that Yehovah is the God of Creation. Ryan Ehlis As long as a woman’s position IN THE CHURCH five fold or ten fold or whatever title you want to put on it doesn’t involve disrupting God’s biblical order that he has clearly laid out in his word for a woman not to teach or usurp authority over a man then it would be fine. The apostle Paul was crystal clear regarding a woman’s role in the church did not involve a position of a speaker or teacher position over the church. He even went so far as to say that these things were the commandments of the Lord. 1 Cor 14:34 ¶ Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36 ¶ What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? 37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. We are not to conform culture or what we may or may not like to re-interpret scripture. If it is under Jesus and it is under his word and under his structure that he has designed from creation then we can be confident we are doing God‘s will and not involved in some man centered or woman centered program. We need to be careful we are following Jesus as his instruments building his church his way rather than Building on the sand of our own or someone else’s kingdom with ideas that they’ve added that are opposed to God‘s word no matter how well-intentioned or spiritual it may sound. Peter calls men out who are disobedient to the truth and who dwell with women without knowledge they are equally brethren. Where scripture says a woman shouldnt exercise authority over "a man" meaning no woman should be domineering. But thats what Christ said to all brethren over all brethren. But we have allowed it to be defined by what each consider domineering ... and that then becomes laws written by men.

First Timothy 2:12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have the authority over a man, but to be in silence. Silence means no speaking at all among the church. God means what He says and says what He means. I seen a breaking down of this.
