Matthew 1:18-25(The birth of Jesus Christ( Jesus😊1st❤)) "18 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child(Jesus😊1st❤) through the Holy Spirit(😊❤). 19 Because Joseph her husband was a righteous(😊❤) man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. 20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, " Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit(😊❤). 21 She will give birth to a son(Jesus😊1st❤), and you are to give him(Jesus😊1st❤) the name Jesus(😊1st❤), because he will save his people from their sins." 22 All this toom place to fulfill what the Lord(😊1st❤) had said through the prophet: 23 " The virgin ( Mary) will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him(Jesus😊1st❤) Immanuel( 😊1st❤) - which means, " God (😊100%❤) with us." 24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son( Jesus, our Lord and our savior in Christ Jesus😊1st❤). And he(Joseph) gave him the name Jesus(😊1st❤)." (Matthew 1:18-25 Zondervan NIV Study Bible). The Bible makes sense because back then and nowsday too most families have their parents name their child's or children's names. Thus , as for Jesus our Lord(😊1st❤) and our savior( Jesus😊1st❤), God(😊100%❤) sent an angel(Gabriel 😊) to tell both Joseph( Matthew 1:21)".. to give him the name Jesus...."( Matthew 1:21a) and Mary to name him Jesus(😊1st❤) The Bible said, in Matthew 1:21(😊❤), "21 She(Mary) will give birth to a son(Jesus😊1st❤), and you are to give him(Jesus😊1st❤) the name Jesus(😊1st❤), because he will save his people from their sins." "( Matthew 1:21 Zondervan NIV Study Bible ) and God also sent the same angel to tell Mary to name her ( empreganted by the Holy Spirit(😊❤) ) son Jesus (😊1st❤) too( Luke 1:31). You might where does the Bible say that? The Bible said, in Luke 1:31(😊❤) "31 You (Mary😊) ) will be with a child and give birth to a son( 😊1st❤), and you are to give him the name Jesus(😊1st❤)."(Luke 1:31 Zondervan NIV Study Bible) That's why indirectly God our Father in heaven named his One and Only Son( Jesus😊1st❤) too. In Jesus'name, i pray( thank God for both Joseph and Mary for their obedience to God too by listening to what God sent the angel told them to do name him Jesus( Luke 1:31😊❤ and Matthew 1:21😊❤ ; Matthew 28:19-20😊❤ Romans 8:28😊❤ ).
