Thanks Pastor Paul. Very encouraging sermon, as always ! I saw God’s loving disciplines in my life those days and I really relate to this psalm. God is a loving Father and I am so thankful to Him for the ways He works in my life to refine my faith and to sanctify me to be more like Jesus every single day. Glory be to Him alone ✝️

I am blessed and so much touched when I listened to this preaching. I felt God's discipline is His love for me and He showed me his heart as Father. I felt the life flowing from the message.😁

Wow. I was praying to God this morning how sorry I was, but to please deliver me from my suffering of my sin. Then I opened my bible and read psalm 38 for the first time. Your message has helped me greatly. I will continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that his discipline is for my greatest good. You explained this so well. Thank you! Also, I may share this with some of my clients. I work at a Christian drug rehabilitation center.

I want to say how much I appreciate this style of teaching. Usually I listen to preachers who has a "theme" to teach, and pull scripture out from various passages in the bible. Which is good too, but Your teachings are different because you are actually walking people through scripture and chapters and books. So you are not only explaining the scripture, but what we can learn from it. I need this, because scripture can be tedious and difficult to understand. Thank you so much.

When I turn from God and mess up really bad, I feel crushed and a sense of desperation because I have failed him. Let the rod of discipline fall, but please take not away from me the joy of salvation for all time. If loss comes on the heels of my foolishness, so be it. That was my folly that brought that upon me. But let not the way back to the heart of God be forever barred!

The point in repentance- turn away from sin AND turn to God- so simple, but so helpful. I'm sure the majority of the church is missing that. That was me trying & trying, spinning my tires deeper in the mud. Gotta call GGG- God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit!
