Pastor Paul is not afraid to tell the truth, many teachers would be afraid to confront such topics with this level of vigor. This is admirable.

Thank you for the effort you put into sharing the Word of God .I sincerely appreciate the detailed information & research in every chapter. I am learning the Bible from Genesis .Fortunately I came across your online teaching by chance. Your ability to enact situations through intonation & typical Americanisms is great. I am thoroughly enjoying the time I spend listening & getting a comprehensive understanding of The Scripture. You are a real blessing God bless.

my parents divorced shortly after I was born, and to this day I still dont know exactly why - my best guess is that they decided that they simply didn't get along anymore. when I was younger I felt like I had missed out on witnessing and experiencing the love and the bond created through marriage, and this was one of the reasons I started to explore a relationship with God, when I realised the love that He so willingly provides. I wish to marry and have children one day, and not make the same mistake that my parents did. God bless you pastor Paul, I am thoroughly enjoying studying through the Bible with your videos.

Hate to say it but many successful marriages were / are successful cause the head of the family is the wife. Also I don't think that God would want anyone in a marriage that is toxic, emotionally and mentally draining even if there is no cheating going on. I think that if God sees that one has given one's ALL and the marriage is one sided, then God would want us to free ourselves and live a healthy life. I hope I am right so help me God.

I have heard "why arent you married?" At least 3,000 times in the last 6 years in the Philippines and ironically the question is almost always asked by single mothers.😅

I’m not asking this to belligerently challenge this message, but there are instances where no infidelity is involved, but the husband is beating the wife. If a woman comes and says, “my husband is sometimes beating me within an inch of my life,” is the response supposed to be - there’s no infidelity so you can’t divorce him?
@PastorPaulLeBoutillier3 ай бұрын
Whether someone chooses to divorce for reasons of physical abuse is between that person and the Lord. Over the years, I have encountered several people who were enduring physical abuse and I can tell you that the very first thing I do is to help them get away from the abuser. That is always the first goal. What they do after that should ALWAYS be a matter of prayer,. Abuse is a HORRIBLE thing and I would NEVER tell a woman (or a man) to simply go back and endure abuse. I always recommend separation and protection. But to suggest that divorce is the magic bullet that will make all the bad stuff go away is simply short-sighted. A true believer in Christ must always recognize that their life is no longer their own and that all such final decisions must be directed through the Holy Spirit.
