Powerful testimony! The battle belongs to God. 4 years ago , I was promoted at work and so many people started fighting me. Some of them were messing up with laptops at work and we were loosing documentions, data and so many things. My supervisor used to call me all the time about us loosing data. I did not understand anything...I almost quit the job then one day I had a dream. I saw a beautiful building with a huge tree of mangoes. The tree was surrounded by weeds and underneath it was dirty but the mangoes were huge and beautiful yellow colors. In my dream I said, why the tree in front of this beautiful building? Someone in my dream said the tree is you, the weeds around it are your co workers who always messed up the laptops at work so you can get blamed. I will remove all the weeds around the tree and the dirt do not quit. I woke up and could not believe it! I called my husband at work told him about my dream. He said, it's just a dream. I started praying, I gave God this battle and changed my mind about quitting in mean time, I looked so incompetent at work. I knew I was working very well but time of audit everything was wiped out. I cried to God hardly. It was hard. I decided to take a week vacation just so I can fast. After returning to work, I learned 3 of my co workers were fired on the spot while I was on break. After me returning we never had the issue again everything is good now. Still working it has been almost 5 years now. My supervisor is pleased with my work 🙌. God is good. My dream was real.

Because we want immediate results. We feel if we wait and the battle is lost, then we should’ve done something. Then fear we will have regrets.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (December 30, Christmas 1), 1 Samuel 2:18-20, 26 was our Old Testament Lesson of the Day. The prophecy is fulfilled Jesus is now in the world. Verse 26 of this chapter parallels a verse in our Gospel of the Day (Luke 2:52). Hope that all reading this had a Merry Christmas and also a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The movie Tortured for Christ. Tells the true story of Romanian pastor Richard Wurmbrand who with his fellow inmates in prison share the joy of praise worship and prayer while being tortured for their faith. A very moving movie about how some Christians live their faith in a way that is exemplary to others.
