Came from Catholic upbringing and last conversation with family member did not go well. They insisted that continued prayers for deceased people can help them get into heaven. They were so offended I was told not to bring up the subject again. I just pray for them and I understand what you're saying. Through faith, by His grace, and He is able.

Please consider deliverance my brother/sister. I will pray for you. At times we need to renounce and rebuke those evil spirits. I had to do it once I was saved. I do pray that God helps you with your soul being free. I pray in Jesus name that you fall in love with Jesus and pick up your cross and follow him in truth and in spirit. In Jesus mighty name! Amen!

Hi Tatersalad19 Cars, It's a year later so I hope you're feeling better now! You are saved if you trust in Jesus as your Lord and confess that with your mouth (Romans 10:9). It's simple really. Perhaps you were needlessly doubting your salvation, which is something that can cause depression.

I am glad that you added that comment at the very end about hope can only be gotten through trust and faith in our Lord. Because for a while there I was starting to feel hopeless which is exactly what Paul wanted us to feel because that is how we are without faith and trust in the Lord. Thank you, a great lesson

Praise God, for what you Said at the end of this sermon, That you sort of hope That people Will get a hopeless feeling from all of this, That it is exactly what Paul was also trying to accomplish, hoping to first get people To actually SEE That They sin and that need a Savior, in order for them to accept Him as such. It was exactly my prayer this morning, That i am increasingly seeing That and how hopeless my life is without Him being in it and That i desperately want to cling on His every word, thank you So much for teaching the book of romans in such a slow fashion, in order for revelations to really sink in deep.

I live in a small coastal town called Mossel Bay in South Africa. I learn so much from Pastor Paul's teachings and can identify with them. I have a question: If someone's given their heart to Jesus and prayed the sinners prayer, but just don't seem to have the faith or patience to trust God to do the rest.....what advice or how can they learn to believe and trust God....Kind Regards, Yolandé

Hi from Jozi, I was the same back in 2022, I eventually fell away from God until recently. It is really hard to trust and believe in God currently in my situation being without a job since may and arrears are increasing and I still continue to stay in my sin no matter how much I pray for deliverance. I started about a month or two ago to have small blind faith, and just repeat daily that I want to believe God is going to help me. My prayers have started to go from why God to I believe that God will help me and I ask him to give me patience in the wait.

Hi there, just a question, did he say at the 0:10 that Paul has never been to Rome? Didn't he go twice and also imprisoned ? thanks, cheers from Italy. Maybe he was saying he never went before writing the letter?
@arturmiller26484 жыл бұрын
he just meant that while writing this letter, he has never been there, he doesnt know the place or the people there :) Yes you are right, he has been in rome, but that was after he wrote those letters

"Until a person realizes and confesses their sin forgiveness is a gift that remains unopened and unused." I don't care how much of a virtual world you wanna create. The Bible does not change for man. You willfully continue in sin and rebellion you will be in the wrath of God. Hidden or not, ALL will see.

Romans: Chap 2
@ilarial.4814 Жыл бұрын
Hi pastor Paul, I follow your bible study gladly and they have helped me a lot, thank you for that :). However I am a bit confused about something you say... if works don't save you and don't keep you saved, saying that good works are the proof that we are saved isn't the same thing as saying that we will perform if we are saved? And in so, implying that we do need works to be saved? Maybe in theory not, but practically is exactly the same thing . Also, my fear is that people hearing that will start to focus on their good works and rely on that to check if they are saved, instead of believing that Jesus will never forsake us, no matter how we live. And if works are a proof that we are saved then what about Romans 4:4-8: "Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness". It sounds like this verse is referring to a person that doesn't have good works as a proof that they are saved. Sorry for the long message, and thank you again.

It is obeying the Word not only knowing the Word. Religious - i know the bible, i read it 4x, i go to church, i do everything the bible say, sense of superirity in religiuos matters.but no change in the inside Moralist - You are a sinner you dont know the law. Justfied by keeping the law,
