God is aware of all of your father's abuse and the hurt it has caused you. He also sees that you are dealing with anger toward him and your desire to show him love.Moving out may be a good thing for you if you have been praying about it. The best thing you can do for your Dad is just try to be kind, not argue, and continue to live as a godly example before him. Pray and seek God for His help, and to soften your father's heart. He is most likely angry about things that have hurt him in the past, or situations he now has in his life. Sometimes anger can just become a habit we can fall into.and it can grow in us like a cancer. You may be the only example of what God is like he'll ever see. Jesus can dissolve your anger toward him and give you supernatural love and peace, by His Holy Spirit. It may take years, but the Lord can break through even the hardest of hearts. I will pray for you! 🙏 ❤

Paul what do I do when my dad is abusive, controlling and he discourages me from reading my word or doing right in the lord. I feel persecuted constantly for following him by my own father. All I do when I see him is want to cry and fear him. I am 22 years old and I will be moving out soon (please dont judge) I have reasons. I am trying to recover from these wounds and praying that God can help me forgive I been struggling with doubt of Gods love alot .His abuse has been traumatic for me and I know I been grieving Gods holy spirit with anger, and so much pain. Whoever reading this please pray for me I am struggling.
