It's been 2 years! I came back in this sermon again to be reminded of my goal in life. I've been so focused of ME, of my earthly goals and forgot the very reason of my existence. To know Christ and the power of His resurrection. 😭 I wanna know you Jesus completely. 🙌

My confidence is in Christ Jesus alone. Praise the LORD God Almighty. I remember being a young boy around 7 years old and my mom told me about Jesus and my need for Him to be my Savior. I believed and ran to the bathroom from outside our home got on my knees and asked Jesus to save me from hell. I got up with a smile and believed I was saved. Like a little child. 🙌🏻🎚

Many thanks for this lesson. Many years ago I was a Seventh Day Adventist. I knew not what the Bible said this is why so many people are confused by these religions

Thank you Pastor Paul for this 🙏🏻 I have found that the worst parts of my life are in a way the best, and I thank God for them.. because they are what brought me to surrender my life to Christ. I always come to know Him more in the struggles, ALWAYS. We don’t seek when life is “good”.

Amen and Amen..amazing sermon..thank you. That's exactly how I felt: the legalists I once fellowshiped with frustrated my search for Jesus, and only served to increase my fear of God. I had to jettison myself from those Judaisers, and now count the loss of them as a gain toward Christ. Obedience to Jesus is a paradox. If we think it's about our performance we will be shown to have failed. But trusting in what Jesus did for us ie the imputation of our sins to him, and his righteousness to us is what opened my eyes to the saving grace of God. It's all about living for Christ.

So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]. -2 Corinthians 12:10

I want to stay close to Jesus. He says in psalm 139 if we make our bed in hell he is there, where can I go from your spirit. He is near, it says God is close to the broken hearted. Get close always knowing he is near. 😊Jess

As a fairly new person to the study of the Gospel, I think circumcision is the removal of the belief that the masses hold about the world. By having faith in Christ you are circumcised from the belief that man (or yourself) is the answer to all the earthly problems you have.

I am very concerned for my sisters. They are legalists, and I don't want them to be lost, but I don't see how you can fully trust Christ if they are trusting themselves

At 30:00 it would be great if he would actually expound how to have a closer walk with God when we feel distant and cold. Like give us clear specific examples how that can happen because many of us do sincerely struggle getting close to God.

Surrender everything to our Lord Jesus Christ and ask His Holy Spirit to dwell in your heart. Accept Him as your personal saviour, pray, read His words, the Bible and Listen to Pastors can help you walk with Our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit to come to your Heart, pray always without ceasing as the Bible say so the enemy will not take the Holy Spirit, His word from your heart. Stand strong with your conviction that no matter what Happen, let our Lord control your life from here on, Amen

Personal experience says, we find it hard to get close to Jesus, because we are condemning ourselves, allowing the enemie to bring up accuse us of sin which has been forgiven. Something may of happened a loss, and someone may blame God for that. I would say get to know Jesus character, pray. Know that it's not feelings God never changes which brings confidence that if we feel there's distance he is never distant. Pastor paul said recognise where we've put our focus. It's true how we perceive something needs renewing by what Jesus says. Hard though when you don't feel close to Jesus. 😊
