The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts was a two-day concert series celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The concert took place on October 29 and 30, 2009 at Madison Square Garden and the tickets cost between $75 and $2,000.
The idea behind the concert was to have Hall of Fame inductees perform in eight segments (Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon and Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck, Metallica, and U2) and present their own songs or songs originally performed by other Hall of Fame inductees.

I just turned 69, but I grew up with a Rock and Roll mom and dad, it’s 2024 & it’s hard to see David Crosby, I know he shot his mouth off, but I choose to remember the good stuff, like seeing CSN live, they were pitch perfect. Seen Bonnie several times, went to college with her little brother,David, in Mendocino, I’ve loved her since 1974-75, the only one I haven’t seen is James Taylor…

They did a Concert at the Oakland Coliseum, late 70's where they closed out the concert with this song. They brought up the lights with us all singing this song. It really focused all of us on each other. Kinda magical....and I remember it so no drugs were involved.

I was lucky enough to see Taylor play the Universal Amphitheater in LA in the summer of '75, when Universal Amp. was still open to the stars. It was the Gorilla tour- one of his best albums IMHO. Crosby and Nash came out to sing harmony on Mexico and Lighthouse, just as they had done on the record. We knew we were witnessing something we'd long remember.

It’s all very well writing one of the best songs ever, but you have to perform it too. Every time I hear Love Has No Pride it does me in. What a performance, what a talent, what a song, thanks Bonnie, no wonder Croz said what he said. I’m a massive fan of everyone on that stage, wish I had been there.
