Levan davis is very underrated when it comes to serious momentts his acting is on point. Very funny and a great actor.

Very underrated. I remember watching this when I was really young so I never understood but watching it now as an adult oh my God. Severely underrated.

I strongly feel that it wasn't Curtis giving a good pep talk to Calvin about life, but really LaVan Davis giving a sorely needed pep talk to the studio and viewing audiences. This truly helps a lot. Thanks so much for sharing this.

That episode and the episode where lil Calvin was hurt in the fire were 2 off the most emotional episodes ever. I have a lump in my throat watching those episodes.

This is a lesson that needs to be spread, like most partners only see their partners from either flaws but not enough good they do them. And are often taken for granted. Well guess what, Love is not perfect, that’s why you work out. Miranda was being selfish and ungrateful here not everything is about her.

Well, Miranda do nothing but talking bad about Calvin in front her and whole family episode Then hearing her son gets shot, Miranda still talking smack, that just boiling inside nice mother's heart.

house of payne (the original seasons) will forever be my favorite show, but i absolutely HATED how they wrote this scene. telling someone their su!c!dal thoughts is selfish, is selfish within itself and completely disregarding that person’s feelings.
