There is no way someone who has heard these original songs thinks all he did was play off spotify. The edits and personal VIP versions are INSTANTLY noticeable from the first song. I was expecting something similar to what Swedish House Mafia played last year. They had edits of their classic songs + songs from the new album, and they nailed it. As for CH, these edits sound pretty similar to the original song, and it is no longer 2013 where this genre of music had its best.

I was there. I only expected him to play all his old hits and would’ve been happy with that. He exceeded all my expectations by making edits / mashups of all his tracks. You can literally hear from the first track that he changed the kick, bass and hi hats to give it a more techy vibe. Para que sepas en 2014 vino a Panamá a un festival y el lo cerró, ese mismo año vino Hardwell, Afrojack, Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero, Nervo, Martín Garrix, Alesso, etc... Lastimosamente el festival después de 2017 no pudo seguir por temas de dinero y logística, literal se perdió. Pero bueno Calvin Harris el año pasado estuvo en el EDC.

Años sin presentarse en Ultra pero sus canciones se los afirmo que llevan sonando mas de una vez en el set de mas de un dj año con año en algun remix o algun mashup. I don’t care what you mfs say, he killed it with his set. The amount of nostalgia and vibes he brought was UNREAL!!! And he went over his set time. This was a special set and his was stood out more than anyone’s. He played some of his best songs and did different versions of it and it was very special. That one kiss mix is sooo good. If you were underwhelmed or hating on this set then that sounds like a YOU problem. He was extraordinary and most of us were just really happy to finally see him for the first time and feel like we travelled back in time 10 years

This is why you are one of the best DJs in the game. Countless classics left and right and the remixes to these songs were done so perfectly. I was very upset that you didn't livestream your set on UMF TV the night you performed because I was soooo looking forward to your set all weekend and to see that you weren't livestreaming your set broke my heart big time. But I'm very glad you ended up putting your set here on KZbin, and it was definitely one of the top 5 best sets of the whole festival this year. Idk how people could hate on his set?! He doesn’t play festivals often! I’ve been going to festivals since 2009 and I’ve only seen him 5 times in the last 15 years. I’ve seen tiesto, kaskade, Hardwell 20+ times in that same time frame and I love them but when Calvin plays at a festival it’s a very special treat and for people to hate it just shows yall either don’t care about the edm culture or are new to the scene. Calvin is an absolute legend in terms of being an artist not just a DJ and I’ll always enjoy when he plays a set because it’s that special when he does.

Calvin Harris 10/10 producer but come on his dj-skills are weak. Compare the set from him with Hardwell and listen to the transitions and energy. There are way too much dull moments for a top DJ. Hardwell has 0 commercial songs with tens of million views like Calvin in the past years. Hardwell's legacy is now based on his DJ skills at festivals. Calvin Harris is great for a club but not a mainstage closing act in my opinion. And I am not a hater because I like his productions. But his DJ-skills are dull.

For all the haters hating on Calvin's set, y'all are just fed up he didn't play basic shit like every other DJ. Calvin knew how to throw it down and what makes him an A list DJ is his pure talent and work of art. Meanwhile all other DJs are sampling other songs, Calvin will take samples of his OWN songs and remix them into new IDs you can't find anywhere else besides his own sets. He rarely uploads his own sets for a reason, and that is for you to experience it in person. If you chose to see any other DJ at ultra on Sunday, you definitely missed a treat because Calvin coming out to play at festivals is rare.
