Kyle has won the hearts of millions of Filipinos. Seems like Kyle broke soo many ceilings that day... you know it is extremely hard for foreigners without Philippine blood to acquire a Philippine citizenship. However, Kyle seems to be an exemption. Kyle made powerful connections who endorsed him all the way to the Senate. But it's not just about powerful connections, Kyle has done a significant contribution to the Philippines by promoting the country via his vlogs. The danger was long gone but the ugly stigma about Mindanao being dangerous is lingering (and yet weakening thanks to vlogs!) Kyle's travels and vlogs are inspiring.. makes one less fearful to explore that southern part of the country.

Eto si Kulas at yung Syrian pinaghirapan nila citizenship na maging Filipino dahil conservative ang Philippine government sa mga foreigner na nagtetake advantage sa lupa ng Pilipinas dahil mas mura nga naman dito. Pero yung mga chinese walang kahirap hirap nakakuha ng Filipino passport at birth certificate naging Mayor pa yung isa. Ang kakapal talaga. Magulat na lang tayo pag inopen natin land natin sa mga foreigners. Mas marami pa pagaari mga chinese na yan gaya ng ginawa nila sa Canada at ibang bansa. Kaya saludo kami sayo Kulas dahil dumaan ka talaga sa tamang proseso.

All people deserve to have a house, it's a basic necessity. May mga chekwa na rin may Ph passport pero dahil mahigpit ang BI pagdating sa immigration kinakausap sila ng tagalog at tinatanong ng basic tungkol sa Pilipinas hindi makasagot kaya nadeport sila.

Because there was a bad stigma when you say the word Mindanao, Kulas broke it. He really is far more better than what the DOT is doing. Why do I say that? He is one of the few vloggers who was able to see the beauty of the Philippines off the beaten path that others have not done. I really enjoyed watching his vlogs when he discovers new hidden places that really puts you in awe. He is so well known in Mindanao that he is like just one of your friendly neighbor. He is able to get the respect of Mindanaoans especially the other ethnic groups. That is because he knows how to what we call "pakikisama." Bet if he run for local office, it'll be landslide.😀

Calvin, just like Island Barbie an American who lives in Siargao. She didn't choose the Philippines but the Philippines chose her. Just like Kyle or Kulas, the country chose him the reason it's easier for him to imbibe the culture. Just as you, the country chose you the reason you keep on extending your stay in the country. The Philippines isn't for everyone, some may decided to stay for 3 days because it's not for them, but once the country choose them, they'll keep on coming back until the decision will come to stay for good.

They should revoke his Filipino citizenship because he has never really been a Filipino. He hasn't learned to speak Tagalog despite being here for almost ten years; maybe he's not very smart.
