This is by far the best mix of this track. It just blows all the others out of the water easily. Goosebumps from beat one and you cant stop listening once it starts, it just draws you in further and further with its subtley. Prydz is a genius.

this is way better to the original. Prydz is doing very well atm and im looking forward to see more tunes from him. And yeah, dont whine about long intros. Builds a climax that defines house music

Good, if you like dancing to slow, progressive house. But, I prefer the David Guetta remix, that one is just more fun! And it really gives the song a good feeling. Not saying this is bad, I'd use it in a mix someday. Just saying this wouldn't be the remix of choice for me.
@KizZBG15 жыл бұрын
hmm interesting :) This is a great remix though, I'm not dissapointed. Prydz is a genius!
@AshleyReinaFit14 жыл бұрын
i really like Eric Prydz but in ALL of his songs, the buildup is WAAAAY too long...he tends to have a lot of repetition. Like seriously- songs don't need to be 10 min or longer. This one's a bit shorter, and a good remix
@FelippeSenne14 жыл бұрын
the first minute is for the DJs mix easier on the clubs! :P

The original PWNS all the remixes combined... The original contains all the emotion and feeling, but the remixes have "PARTY" written ALL over them...

I will give you that, but there is no merit to just tearing down and artists and saying he is complete and total shit. If you really don't like it then don't listen to it and don't comment on it unless you have something valuable to say. Criticism is t5he practice of analyzing, classifying, interpreting, or evaluating literary or other artistic works. Not just saying this is shit and i hate it. But i do have to admit its nice to see the one person who didn't agtee with me wasn't an idiot ;P
@AdamStark14 жыл бұрын
As much as anyone hates David Guetta or Eric Prydz, can you do any better? They are on the world wide scene, and where are you? Working a nine to five sitting behind a desk in the same city every week. These people are in a different country every other week doing what they love. Even if you think it sucks you can't do better and we are nothing compared to what they have achieved. So stop whining about how much it sucks, just listen to something else you don't have to listen to David Guetta
@AdamStark14 жыл бұрын
Great point, i understand people not liking it, i just think that if you don't have anything productive to say then don't say anything. People are entitled to their opinion, and i understand not everyone will like Prydz, but don't be so blatantly stupid if your going to criticize something. On that note, Intelligent comment debates FTW!
@Spiife14 жыл бұрын
I was mulling it over this morning and there's a very stark contrast between "I don't like this" and "This is shit". Despite both being an opinion, one comes off as if it were fact. So I agree with you, criticism =/= insulting a piece of work, and doing the latter hardly yields anything productive. And I'm glad not everyone on youtube is brain dead.
@Spiife14 жыл бұрын
I've never really liked that argument. Even if we can't produce or remix better, and even if our day to day lives aren't "better" (which is something else up for debate entirely) doesn't mean we can't criticize. Although I agree posting you dislike it seems pointless, it holds just as much weight as saying you like it.
@Stevieboy7415 жыл бұрын
Here here....I'm not a massive fan of this particular remix but you're definitely right what you say about talentless reality stars ruining the music industry. It's getting to the point now where it's a joke to call it music, it's just a money making machine! Long live the underground and electronic dance music where the real fuckin talent is!!
@dwightschrute7014 жыл бұрын
They have long intros so that when your dancing in the club, it can build up to an awesome climax, and the DJ can blend the tunes together perfectly.
@DarkWolfe114 жыл бұрын
@dwightschrute70 Yea. That's exactly how they do it. Usually it's for Porgressive House or Progressive Trance. The contunuous beat at the beginning and end acts as a bridge to the next song, fusing the end and beginning of two songs to create a smooth transition. House Music kicks ass.
@AdamStark14 жыл бұрын
@luxwutang guess it sucks that he came up with it first then huh? If you can make a tack like memories get off youtube and do it. Produce a track and make millions like him, otherwise you have no right to bash it.
@luxwutang14 жыл бұрын
@dragonsgate101 who can't do better than guetta looool...he makes a loop and spins it like 190 times...that surely is a great artist...i made the "memories" beat in like 12 minutes
@youngold9514 жыл бұрын
It's an original mix. The intro is long so DJ's can beatmatch the song and mix it when they're playing. The outro is long so they can smoothly pull it out of the mix
@Stan84412 жыл бұрын
All he did was become more mainstream, no one seems to understand that nearly everyone is in it for the money. He still has the same soul from his original songs.

@maverickem0912 жыл бұрын
Using CDs or vinyl (or Traktor/Serato etc. w/o looping the intro) DJs have to have time where the song is running without being played in mix ('cued') to beat match with the song playing, unless you scratch (which wouldn't work too well with this style IMO) or just pick a point in the song to hard switch it over (which is almost always messy). Thus why the intros for a lot of house of this style and trance songs are longer (and uneventful) than you sometimes want to really listen to.
@karasartem14 жыл бұрын
@spiderscwein5 just clean up your eardrum first... I don't think it is going to help you with your childish opinion, but it should at least improve your poor sense of humor... Cause by making such posts you make people worried not only of future of good trance music, but also about how people began to be objects simulated by "electro dance (milky way), tecktonik, melb shuffle und jumpstyle" that you innocently like... Welcome to Trance World... Music you can listen without ear plugs...
@makirompe14 жыл бұрын
@DarkWolfe1 I agree mate... If we consider the beat, is a typically house beat(just some breackbeat, no important breakdown like in trance music).But che climaxes in the song drive this track very close to trance.Technically speaking, it's progrssive house, but generally, progressive house isn't so emotional and so rich in climaxes like trance.For me is a masterpiece exaclty in the midlle betwenn House and Trance.
@Gacu00114 жыл бұрын
@dragonsgate101 Well all that really means nothing (fame, money.... REALLY people should think about it) and if he does what he (DGuetta) loves goOd! but he's not very good at it x3... I think he's just overrated I've heard many of his remixes and they are boring or disgusting xD, im not really into electronic music but evn his pop remixes are bad (or at least I dn't like 'em)... Not like this one, definitely better than Guetta's ... Jus' saying. PEACE..!!!
@TjtheTrapper14 жыл бұрын
he's a fucking character. it's like he dedicated so much of his life to understanding this music, mastering its production all that he can rape its integrity shamelessly every couple years with his, "albums". i was 17 when i realized that he was so commercial that he was actually advertising himself during his sets! that he was telling me that house is about sex and it wasn't. at least not solely, not for us; PLUR

@patnutts13 жыл бұрын
@C4553L If you are talking about quality of production I'd actually go Wolfgang Gartner, he hasn't done much and above all, he tried to go mainstream with forever but it just didn't work. Guetta has produced tight house music that we all have loved moreso than Wolfgang..
@brianfan62814 жыл бұрын
david guetta's new album is pop shit,,, nothing like he used to do before, very mainstream pop now, listen to "when love takes over" and other pop songs and you know it., eric pryds does underground music remix for good songs...so of course u can't compare them, beause david guetta is pop music now.
@jorgepereira4414 жыл бұрын
Eric Prydz is not like David Guetta. Most of Prydz's work is "underground". He produces a lot Progressive House and some minimal stuff. But he produces under the alias Pryda. Search for it. Because Eric Prydz as Eric Prydz just has a few realeases. The major is as Pryda or Cirez D
@Andedidas15 жыл бұрын
This remix is far better than the Guetta one, yet nothing can compete with the original track!
@pfftdanny12 жыл бұрын
I don't what you are referring too.. but... I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a "DJ" to mix or mashup a song over a min long. I'm a newbie with the turn tables but that's my perspective... and plus, I just didn't like the intro, I wouldn't use it.
@prixie13714 жыл бұрын
you guys,need to know what music is and what it takes to do a remix,this was sent to armin van burren and he played it on his live set in lublianaja, and the crowd loved it and went mental on this song, i was one of them too

atleast prydz actually makes music that he likes aswell as music he knows is commercial bullshit. never heard a david guetta tune that doesnt make me wanna throw up. that new video of his is just so ridiculous i laughed all the way through.

jst think the original is so much better like u wudn't even have this moderetly ok song without it, i'm not saying this is a bad song i guess i just prefer the "head" the original gives me more to my liking

One more.. Calvin Harris or whoever uploaded this video.. its very stupid of you's to be uploading the full version in high quality when you know full well that it is going to be ripped.. i bet prydz is well pissed
@maverickem0912 жыл бұрын
Then skip about a 1:30 ahead... You're not really supposed to listen to it, it's for the DJ to mix it in without looping (thus why the radio edits are about 1:30 shorter, normally)
@daankool579813 жыл бұрын
@ronney1995 1. you don't know what sarcasm is 2. You don't know what good DJ's are and 3. why do you think tiesto is #1 DJ? He was a couple of years ago but now he is not even close.

I love this tune but this version is much slower than the one I heard on the essential selection and GBDJ. The faster version kills it for me. It's a bit pedestrian sounding otherwise.
