He probably won’t die anytime soon. SK has come out and said the story will more than likely end with the bells chiming in the city, signaling the start of WWII. Considering Finn and Charlie will be of age to join the war, I don’t see how killing Tommy off will help. With Tommy being involved with Churchill and Parliament, it will not be easy for him to go down. It’s too predictable of an ending. Also, SK has confirmed there will be a Peaking Blinders movie and Cillian is also on board with it, so IF Tommy does die, it won’t be in the series.

It’s a natural progression .. happens all the time and in all big Dynasties where there is a clear hierarchy, there will always be someone who oversteps the mark, who tries to overthrow the main lead and or destabilize them! Michael was ambitious from the start you can see how quickly he left his adopted family to reconnect with his biological family meaning he is not afraid of change ! Seeing as he grew up in a relatively well-off family he notices that his biological family came from poorer living conditions yet were all hustlers , Michael didn’t want that for him , he a wanted to take a step further , to make “ proper money “ as he called it , which is why Tommy took the opportunity to use Michael in order to legalize his financial dealings . The money , status, power got to his head and he probably saw how reckless Tommy was getting and thought he could tone it down, he , Polly and Ada wanted to take the buisness in a direction where the use of violence would be less prominent

The score: yup this goes to peaky blinders even tho breaking bad got some good music in it too. The outfits: this shouldnt even be a category, ofc peaky blinders has the flashier outifits bc of its setting. But if you want to talk about the stylization I would say that peaky blinders is ahead of breaking bad but even with better call saul- botch are toptier The writing: its not even a question that peaky blinders is masterpiece from a writing point of view but breaking bad and better call saul are easily the best written shows ever on televison - like have you even seen them? The set: i think one could argue that albuquerque and Birmingham are both evenly good sets Cinematogrophy: Peaky Blinders has some really good cinematogrophy but breaking bad and espacilly bts have toptier cinematogrophy, gilligan can tell a story just with a single shot

*SPOILEEEERS* Kinda off-top but I think this Johny? (Idk his name) The one who was introduced I think in season 5. He was sitting with Finn and Finn told him about that they're gonna shoot Oswald. And Finn gave him money to play with some girls, but when Finn left, he hasn't picked money, but phone. Maybe he called Oswald? Who knows? I mean, they kinda treated that guy like shit when Tommy was so obsessed about "The throne". Maybe it's just this guy who tries to make them pay for all of this?

I really wished they made Michael seem a bit more competent in season 5. Which makes me think half of it is a plan via Tommy. For the first 3 seasons with Michael we see competence, honor, and loyalty to his family. In season 4 he chose his mom over Tommy which I still don't understand why that was taken so harshly. It would take someone without a heart, soul, and half a brain to betray their mother. He was in a no win scenario. Then season 5 came about and just kinda... meh'd him about. To be fair he didn't do much different from season 1 Tommy vs Arthur. It's just this time, the person in Arthur's spot is capable if insane.

Michael betraying him and Thomas going against his own family tearing Polly apart in the process will be by far the most interesting content to come that they could run with.
