that CL is gorgeous. That is the 'entry level' and pre-facelift spec of that generation. They have the 5.5l N/A V8 instead of the 4.7l TT in the facelift (which is more tuneable but loses the N/A charm). A 2010 model with that engine is rare and will probably only go up in value now.

That gen of CL500 are soooo under rated - thinking mans CL63 - it's a cruiser, and the 5.5 V8 has all the grunt you need, the 63 version feels a bit unnecessary when you drive one - I know, I've driven both and had the 5.5 in an E500 (W212) great engine!

I live sciroccos, I used to have a R line 2.0 TDI and it was just solid and lovely to drive. The seats were so comfy. But the cl500 is beautiful

If the suspension was low then raised as you used it’s likely the air suspension bags need replacing, not cheap. I had a V6 E Class, this reminded me of it. Was pure class. Fuel economy though is shocking 😅

I’m sure they done a challenge on the old Top Gear and if I’m right Jeremy Clarkson chose the Mercedes. The challenge was about running costs of the car. Jeremy Clarkson was quoted over £1000+ just to replace a coil pack. I might be wrong?

I had one of the older shape cl600s and a coil pack was £1000 per side of the v12 I believe the v8s had individual packs per cylinder

20:54 this is where Mercedes went wrong with the new CLE, The pillar less doors is what makes Mercedes Coupes look good and BMW didn't do this on the 4 series unless it was the convertible. Have to love a pillar less coupe.

@@asimmalik6378 no it didn't the rear windows didn't drop, they're fixed like this car. They don't have a rim around the front door glass but there is a B pillar. I have a F32 so can confirm this.
