Do you measure event opening and closing separately ?

As the video shows I can measure the profiles of exhaust and inlet cams (not valves) together or separately. The starting angular position is arbitrary but the relationship between the in and out lobes is maintained. To have meaning the opening and closing events need to be measured on the engine at the valve not the cam.
