😢 I found it a very interesting interview, but I wish he wouldn't use profanity. I do think he's honest, particularly on how he played the super bowl that day. Very forthcoming about his mindset and individual performance that day. Extremely admirable. With regard to the language, there's the old saying that an intelligent person doesn't have to use profanity to express themselves. Cam obviously has some to much intelligence about him, but it's not the same as wisdom. Surprisingly articulate man, there's no need for him to rely on foul language to express himself. Impressionable, very talented young athletes will be watching this interview. Some will be mimicking his delivery as well in the future.
@h2w259 ай бұрын
@@rashaaddrowski96 did you not listen to the interview?!!! He double talks, almost everything it is that he says. He himself is a game managing NFL quarterback who’s best years came on the backs of a 2015 team that had literally *10 pro bowlers,* and *8 all pros* He is constantly misusing words that are outside of his vocabulary, because he’s trying to project himself as more intelligent than he actually is. He surrounds himself with sycophants who tell him he’s not the problem, so he will never be able to objectively discern the reasons for his decline. Quarterback is not an athletic position, it’s a cerebral position and you have to put in the study work, Travis Kelce is on record about saying how much Patrick Mahomes actually studies football to the point that it’s almost annoying. We all know about Peyton and Brady. Cam Newton has always been concerned with being an icon, looking good, the rules don’t apply… Any NFL general manager would watch this interview and immediately take him off of any consideration. His attitude is not one of a reflective selfless leader who cares about the success of a team.

Podcast of the year so far. Unc has been on fire since his departure from Undisputed. From his 1st appearances on 1st take years ago. I knew Shannon Sharpe would be box office TV. He was box office on the field. One of the most polarizing players on the original Hard Knocks during his time with the Ravens. When things are meant for you. They're meant for you. And he's literally the only Podcast running that allows the guest the platform to speak. No interruptions, no suggestive comments, just straight to the point with his questions, and his willingness to simply listen. It really makes for good viewing or listening. Whichever you prefer. HANDS DOWN THE BEST PODCAST running currently.

One of the most underappreciated and disrespected QB's of all time, it's a shame how people do Cam Newton. But it's amazing to see him have the opportunity to speak candidly for 3 hours! I love this show for this reason.

As an ardent admirer of Mr. Newton, I always envisioned Newton as a perfect fit for the Atlanta Falcons. Newton's remarkable talent, unwavering dedication, and exceptional work ethic are truly unparalleled, and I believe Newton could have made a significant impact on the Atlanta Falcons.

I said the same. Would have been epic him being from Atlanta as well. Fans would truly have appreciated that

@@toota9125@toota9125 - I agree 100%. I wonder why ATL does not embrace some local, homegrown talent. Yes, he would have had to produce, but Cam has a love people would show up for.

@Johnthoo1 THEY ALREADY GAVE CAM NEWTON HIS RECOGNITION, AND DID SO BY ALLOWING HIM TO HAVE HIS OWN PLATFORM/TALK SHOW/PODCAST BOTH SHANNON SHARPE AND CAM NEWTON HAVE MADE MORE MONEY THROUGH THEIR ONLINE AND INTERNET CAREERS THAN THEY EVER DID THROUGHOUT THEIR CAREERS IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE (NFL)

This is the ONLY time Shannon looked small. Cam is a BIG dude. Met him in Brooklyn at a Nets game in January. I'm 6'2" 235+ lbs. I know he's listed at 6'6" 250, but he's easily 6'7" 270lbs. No fat. Great interview. Much respect to both his parents for the great job and especially his father Cecil for raising an unapologetic man.
