Homes aren’t broken because the father isn’t in it. Homes are broken because the family is broken. There are plenty of families where the father doesn’t live in the home but they are still there for their kids 100% and they have a healthy family dynamic. Let’s be honest relationships don’t always work out and that’s okay people are not doing their kids any favors staying together JUST because they have kids.

Cam is a professional narcissist who thought he was gonna gaslight his way through the interview. He shut down when he realized it wasn't gonna work. He literally started ignoring her while slumped in his chair, when she would ask him a question. She literally asked him "do you have any boys out of the 8 children. I'd assume you do, but do you?" N he literally IGNORED her n stared off into the distance out of irritation. So she just continued talking. He was highly upset that he lost control of the conversation n was not being coddled for his behavior n passive aggressive responses. I turned it off after that. Bc why are you now acting like a child n being disrespectful? Ignoring YOUR guest on YOUR show? Corny. He needs help. He's struggled the entire interview to reclaim his dominance over her n she wouldn't allow it.

Because men fear losing their money/assets more than they fear childbirth/having kids. Having children is more of a burden for a woman than it is a man. And women make it easy for them by having their children with no real commitment.

This is constructive criticism for Cam and many men who have children by different women. This Dr. was on point. You often hear men say, "All my kids are provided for." Some men think being of high value supercedes the importance of being a present father. They fail to realize child support and sporadic moments in a child's life cannot replace the invaluable time and love from a father under one roof. Simply showing up for special moments (birthdays, games, graduations, etc.) cannot replace the value of both parents' presence in a child's life. People will argue that the child is good, but I would challenge any father with several kids from different women to ask their kids how they really feel about seeing their father once a week, month/year, or receiving a text or phone call. Worse, never at all. I speak from experience as a grown man who experienced what it was like being one of five children from different mothers. My dad was not involved in my life and even to this day, it affects me. When I married my wife, I knew I would not want to be like him. I have been married for 26 years now. My wife and I raised two children who are now grown and doing well in life.

A lot of these men are more concerned about how marriage can negatively affect their bank accounts but not how sowing seed in the wrong woman can affect the life of their kids for GENERATIONS to come. A mature mindset shifts from “I need to protect myself” to “I need to best position myself to pass the baton to my kids”. It goes from “me” to “I’m part of an existence that’s bigger than me.” When this thing hit me I stopped having sex with for satisfaction and reserved sex for a man I would see fitting to father my children. I wasn’t a mother yet but my kids were continually on my mind. The next person I had sex with became my husband. We’ve broken so many generational cycles just by our decision to be married. My kids are the FIRST in my family to have a SAFE and stable home environment. That’s the biggest flex you can ever have in this life. That outweighs any fear I could possibly have of divorce because we are both committed to the same purpose. The moment I allow my feelings to tell me otherwise that “bigger picture” is what anchors me to my vows.
