Watching the Vando video then this, you can see the different types of defensive IQ. Cam has good awareness of his window to get a steal and great hands. With Vando its floor IQ & positioning, he seems to know what play is running.

I’m a super defensive minded player and as a diehard Lakers fan! when Cam & Vando are healthy they are a problem on the defensive end!

His defensive tenacity is worth keeping on the roster , you just pray for health so his offense can catch up to the Defense and you have a solid rotation player.

Let’s get real for a second: Cam Reddish deserves the starting shooting guard position, and it’s time we acknowledge that! He’s like the perfect puzzle piece next to D-Lo, while Austin Reeves might as well be from a different jigsaw entirely. I mean, come on! Have you seen Cam’s long arms? He’s like a ninja out there, swatting away pesky offensive players with the grace of a gazelle-if gazelles could guard the perimeter. Now, Austin Reeves, bless his heart, is great in his own right. But let’s face it: putting him in the starting lineup is like sending a kitten to face a pack of wolves. Opposing teams sniff him out like bad sushi, and suddenly they’re feasting offensively. It's a buffet of scoring opportunities, and who needs that chaos at the start of a game? Cam brings the kind of tenacity you’d expect from a Fox chasing a squirrel! He’s a defensive wall with the agility to stay with the best, and he’ll make opposing players rethink their life choices. Imagine the energy surge when he bursts onto the court as a starter! That's the kind of vibe we need to kick off the game-a beneficial eruption of defensive prowess. And let’s not forget: when it comes to bright futures, Cam and Austin are practically twins in the age department. Folks, the hype surrounding Reeves as a budding superstar is entertaining, but let’s pump the brakes a bit. Right now, Cam Reddish is holding the trophy for "most versatile shooting guard" and it's not even contestable! So, why not ride the wave of Reddish energy? He’s got that spark we need in the starting lineup, ready to electrify the court and keep opponents on their toes. It’s time to embrace the Reddish revolution-let’s unleash the beast!

Thing is reaves is a proven playoffs performer and his numbers has gone up every year with more playing time. Cam is the opposite. He started as a prospect supposed to be a star player and has only regressed every year. He showed defensive progress this year but he’s too inconsistent offensively. Before worrying about Austin reaves I think y’all should be paying attention to Christie who will play a bigger role this year and is probably going to steal minutes from cam.

Reddish cant hit the open three, he is not a connecting player like austin I would give more minutes to Christie alteast he can shoot the open three and has more upside

@@JohnPhilipCo LOL@ Max shooting the open 3pt. will he make it? Players like Brook Lopes, Jason Kidd, Lebron James have turned their 3pt shot around during the middle or end of their careers, so anyone can improve their 3pt. Max looks stiff out there and lacks fluidity....
@lakerlife9817Ай бұрын
@@JohnPhilipCo Consider the journeys of figures like Brook Lopez and Jason Kidd. Lopez, initially known more for his post play, underwent a remarkable evolution, developing a reliable three-point shot that significantly expanded his offensive repertoire. This transformation not only revitalized his career but also contributed to the modern stretch big role in basketball-proving that hard work and practice can yield extraordinary results. Similarly, Jason Kidd, an iconic point guard, was not always the sharpshooter we remember. Early in his career, he was known more for his passing and defense. However, with time, dedication, and the right coaching, Kidd transformed himself into a formidable long-range threat, further cementing his legacy in the league and enhancing his team's offensive dynamics

The help on defense that Anthony Davis has been craving. Just needed a multiple Offensive System that allows Cam Reddish to set Flare Screens for D’Angelo Russell.

Hopefully he stays on the team and rotation, and gets better on offense all around, stay peste on defense.

Tbh Reddish isn't that bad. With the defense he plays his legs probably are tired on offense. He probably needs to get in better shape like Reddick wants Austin to do.

It’s not as simple as being a minus defender & falling off in the playoffs. Dlo has literally been our best PG in the Lebron era. We’ll need to find playmaking elsewhere and someone else to contribute to those scoring numbers.
@vincebodney46943 ай бұрын
@@Blazin50sI think people forget it’s a 82 game season. LeBron cant play 100% full force, like he does in the playoffs. We need a player like Dlo to carry us until the playoff n use different players on the team to replace him, during the playoffs when he doesn’t show up on offense.

@@vincebodney4694 maybe bring him off the bench to run the second unit. Gabe Vincent + Austin start. Enough playmaking alongside Bron, AD and whatever wing you want.
