The scariest part about this is that I never got the memo for how hard it was to get into UF. I got in and I’m grateful now but I’m a south Floridian and I didn’t hear much about it. It’s a great place to study, classes are challenging but definitely great for growth overall!

Couldn’t agree more! Glad you’ve had such a great experience!

Ah thanks for the video man. I'm committed to UF rn but waitlisted at an in-state school. I love UF, but the out of state tuition is just crazy (not to mention almost no scholarships available for out of state) and idk what classes are even gonna look like in the fall (why pay all the $$ to sit in your dorm and do online school) All things considered tho you do a great job summing up what I loved about UF when I toured

Hey Scott! Thanks for the comment. I agree, the tuition can be crazy for out of state. Hope everything works out for you!

What’s up Cam, I’m Jace, been watching you for a few years now, and as a fellow business major I’ve found the vids super helpful and informative, especially when you discuss specific classes. I managed to seemingly beat the odds and make it in, and as a triple legacy there I’ve wanted to go my whole life. There was never much of a decision to make for me for most of the reasons you just mentioned. Just wanted to say I respect the grind you’ve been on and keep up the good work. Go gators 🤙🏻

Hey Jace, thanks for supporting me all these years. Congrats on getting in!

Would you say it’s better to go to Kelley than UF for business. In state for UF
@Galbra1th Жыл бұрын
Kelley definitely has better reputation in the business world. But you can’t beat free tuition through Bright Futures at UF

UF isn't well known on the West Coast as far as I can tell - class of 2025 incoming freshman from that side of the country. We tend to know all the tech schools like UT Austin, Purdue, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, etc, but not much about schools like Washington + Lee, U Virginia, and U Florida. Kinda fun that people don't have any frame of reference on it, but it's weird UF doesn't get more out of state applicants. Reasonable (for out-of-state) tuition, great location, fun--you'd think it would get lots of people. Probably just a problem where a lot of Georgia people stay in Georgia, and there's not really that many upper-middle class families in other nearby states till you hit North Carolina (another state with good public schools).

Yeah I think you’re right about ppl on the West Coast. As far as the east coast I’d have to disagree. We get a lot of students from the northeast at UF. A lot of NY, NJ, PA representation.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the northeastern crew on stuff like class of 2025 instagram. I'm sure the reputation of UF extends throughout the East Coast, it's just a low rate of actual out of state students applying/attending which I found interesting. 16% OOS at UF versus 30-35% at most public flagships.

school decision is not the most important decision you will ever make... on your death bed you will not be saying .. thank god i went to uf .. chill out and live life one day at a time. dont stress and your dreams will come true... kids litteraly go crazy thinking about 4 years out of 80

I agree that it’s important to not stress and drive yourself crazy about where you go to school. But I do believe that college is a major decision. Not only does it dictate the beginning of your professional career, but also your location, your friends, your financial standing, and your habits for later in life. Don’t stress about it, but certainly be aware of all the things that school choice affects in your personal life outside of just the education.

@@Galbra1th I agree with you here. Ofc college isn't the be all end all, for the amount of money that goes into it, as well as years of your life, it's a very important decision
