Several years back, I met chef Damu sir but had an unpleasant experience. I boarded 3A coach of Rockfort Express from Trichy to Egmore. As mine was lower berth and the middle berth passenger had already but the bed, it was difficult for me to sit. So, I sat on the side lower berth where a fat man was sitting. After sometime, I saw many passengers, especially females, touching his feet and engaged in some cookery related stories. As I never watch cookery programmes on TV, I didn't know who this person was. After sometime, he noticed that all except me was giving him utmost importance!! He turned towards me and asked about my berth. He then asked me to get up and sit there as he needs to sleep. However, he was sitting with his admirers for another 1 hour chatting with loud noise. I wondered whether all celebrities expects to be self-centered....I may know it only if I too becomes popular 😅
